Morning Glory Orphanage
After retiring from the Yakuza business, Kiryu started his life in Okinawa running an orphanage called Morning Glory. It appears like a traditional Japanese house, with folding doors and a low dining table. They also have a doghouse nearby for a dog that the children befriended.
Outside the Orphanage is a vast sandy beach and the sea, where the children head out to play. This place holds a special place in Kiryu’s heart, and he won’t let anyone destroy it. A lot of wholesome memories were created here, and it was a safe place for kids with nowhere else to go.

Hawaii Beach
Hawaii is a pretty popular location for a vacation and the Yakuza series adapted it as well in the series. You can go swimming in the beach waters as Ichiban or just roam around to get an exotic feel of the area.
The animations for Alo-Happy Tours on the beach are also quite creative and often absurd. Yet it’s fun to see the characters enjoying what Hawaii has to offer, whether it’s Ichiban riding dolphins or surfing in the waters.
5
Sotenbori River
Sotenbori is a town that focuses a lot on its seafood considering how that restaurant with the crab motif is often shown in a town introduction cutscene. There are plenty of opportunities to fish in the sea, and the riverside is the perfect place to do it.

China Town In Ijincho
Ijincho is a large city, and it is divided into three major factions, one of them being the turf of the Chinese Mafia. It’s here in Chinatown that Zhao runs his restaurant in this district, which has landmarks resembling those found in China.
Little Asia in Kamurocho is also a Chinese-based area, but has a much smaller scale.
The place looks like you are on a trip to China right within Japan, but this isn’t exactly fun as the town is overridden by gangsters. That said, China Town has an aesthetic environment with Chinese Lanterns and Dragon motifs hung across Chinese-style buildings.
3
Kamurocho Entrance
The Japanese-style Arch at the entrance of Kamurocho appears flashy and aesthetic. It’s a perfect place to capture a few screenshots and take some selfies. Almost every Yakuza game has a cutscene that highlights the entire town along with this landmark.
Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is the only game where you don’t visit this place.
The Arch is certainly iconic as it is deeply burned in the memory of every Yakuza fan. It holds thematic significance in the plot, as every time Kiryu returns to Kamurocho, he is sure to stop by this Arch and express his disdain for Yakuza in the later games.
2
Tojo Clan Headquarters
Tojo Clan Headquarters is one of the most plot-significant places in the Yakuza series, considering how some major events in the story took place here. The Yakuza families hold important meetings here, and new Chairmans also take their oath here. However, sometimes things get a little too heated and the Headquarters turns into a grueling battlefield.
