In this event, as given by the game description, you’ll step into a haunted mansion where every tap leads to adventure. The journey begins by assembling a team of eight players during the Team-Up Phase. Don’t worry if your team isn’t full, smaller groups will automatically merge within 24 hours, something that we have seen in many other events as well.
To start, tap the center of your game board to access the event view. From there, create or join a team and prepare for the mini game. Once inside the mansion, you’ll encounter various objects to interact with. Tap an object to trigger an action, then use cards from your 36-card deck to match or exceed the action’s difficulty.
There are four special power cards available:
- Shuffle Card: Resets and redistributes your deck.
- Team Boost Card: Multiplies its value by the number of teammates on the same task.
- On Fire Card: Activates a “Max Hot” mode for bonus power on your next action.
- Frozen Card: Introduces a “Freeze Bonus” for more effective attempts.
As you complete actions, progress bars on objects will fill up, unlocking milestone rewards that are shared with all contributors. The deck temperature system is something you need to keep a look at: If you succeed in four consecutive actions, the On Fire mode activates, allowing you to draw extra cards.
On the other hand, failures will lead to activating Ice Cold, eventually triggering boosts to help you succeed.
