Bosch: Legacy is ending after season 3 airs in March 2025, but it’ll be replaced by the Ballard spin-off series, which is due out later that same year. A lot of the behind the scenes crew are working on Ballard, but the assumption was that they’d be able to sustain themselves by working on both shows. When Bosch: Legacy season 3 wrapped filming, it wasn’t considered to be the end of the road for Harry Bosch’s solo stories. However, the production team were told while working on Ballard‘s first season that Bosch: Legacy was being canceled. It was a sucker punch, and the crew now rely solely on Ballard, and Amazon know this very well, and likely used it as leverage to prevent the loyal team from speaking out.
