How To Plant The Device

To start, you’ll need to pick up the bomb, also known as the Rift Point Device. This item spawns exclusively at the Attackers’ starting location, and since only one device is available per round, it’s essential to coordinate with your team as to who has to retrieve it.

Once the device is in your possession, your next move is to choose a target location to plant it. There are two possible sites: A and B. Both are clearly marked on your mini-map. Visually, you can identify these sites by the shattered ground decorated with distinctive purple glowing cracks. Deciding which site to approach depends on the positioning of your team and the defending team’s strategy.

When you reach your chosen site, move close to the shattered ground. At this point, press the interact button to begin planting the device — ‘E’ for PC and ‘X’ for Console.

Once the device is planted, a countdown begins, shifting your objective to defending the site and preventing the opposing team from defusing the bomb.
