This Raid Day event, the Necrozma Fusion Raid Day, will be brief, taking place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 2pm local time to 5pm local time, only lasting for three hours in total. The Necrozma Fusion Raid Day will offer several bonuses and features; read on to learn everything there is to know about this event.
Featured Pokemon: Dusk Mane And Dawn Wings Necrozma
Both Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma will be featured during this Raid Day event. Being the featured Pokemon, you can expect to find both Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma Raids in the majority of Raid locations.
Successfully completing one of these Raids will reward you with an encounter with Necrozma, giving you the chance of catching this rare Pokemon. Necrozma encountered as a Raid reward will have increased odds of being Shiny, proving to be a great opportunity to acquire this rare Necrozma variant.
Additionally, completing either of these Raids will provide you with Fusion Energy, a resource needed to complete Pokemon fusion. Completing a Dusk Mane Necrozma Raid will reward you with Solar Fusion Energy and Dawn Wings Necrozma Raids will reward you with Lunar Fusion Energy.
It will require 1,000 Solar Fusion Energy, 30 Cosmog Candy, and 30 Necrozma Candy to fuse Necrozma and Solgaleo into Dusk Mane Necrozma.
Necrozma and Lunala can be fused into Dawn Wings Necrozma, requiring 1,000 Lunar Fusion Energy, 30 Cosmog Candy, and 30 Necrozma Candy.

Raid Day Bonuses
There will be two bonuses active for all players during this three-hour event, both allowing you to complete more Raids during this brief event window. These bonuses include:
- Obtain five extra free Raid Passes from Pokemon Gym Photo Discs.
- Use up to 20 Remote Raid Passes on the day of this event (Friday, December 13, at 5pm PST to Saturday, December 14, at 8pm PST).
Raid Day Ticket
There will be an event ticket available to purchase for the Necrozma Fusion Raid Day, enhancing your experience during this event. This ticket will be purchasable at the Pokemon Go in-game shop, costing $5.00 USD.
Those who purchase this event ticket will benefit from the following four bonuses, stacking with those available for free.
- Eight extra Raid Passes from Pokemon Gyms.
- Double the Stardust from successfully completing Raid battles.
- 50 percent more XP from successfully completing Raid battles.
- Increased odds of earning Rare Candy XL from successfully completing Raid battles.
These bonuses will be available on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 2pm local time to 10pm local time.
