As you make your way through Fantasian Neo Dimension, there is one thing you will encounter all over the place, and that is chests. Treasure chests can be found, pretty much, everywhere. On small side paths to inside buildings. Chests are always worth going out of your way for, as even the most basic consumable item can help turn the tide of battle.
Yet as you progress further into the game, you will encounter more and more locked chests as Leo’s story unfolds. One example of this is a strange, white chest that looks somewhat mechanical in appearance. To open these chests, you will need to obtain a Mechteria Key, and here is how you can get them in Fantasian Neo Dimension.

Sick Mother is a side quest in Fantasian Neo Dimension. Here’s how players can complete it and claim the rewards.
How to Get Mechteria Keys in Fantasian Neo Dimension
The earliest point in which you can obtain Mechteria Keys is when you reach the Mechteria Infestiation in East Vence. Just like with the Iron Key, you have a chance of encountering Key Orblings that will drop a Mechteria Key upon killing them. The enemy always carries a large version of the key that they will drop, so it is easy to tell which key you will get at the end of a battle. You can also occasionally get Mechteria Keys occasionally from defeating a boss as well, and you can find one near the picture of Leo’s mother in the Toy Box in East Vence.
That said, the best way to farm Mechteria Keys is to fast travel to the Mechteria Investation in East Vence, make sure the Dimengeon Machine is on, and gather up 20 to 30 enemies. Once you’ve gotten enough enemies stored, fight them. Not only is this a good way to get EXP quickly, but it also increases your chances of encountering a Key Orbling. While they are technically a rare spawn, it is more efficient to farm them with the Dimengeon Machine rather than wandering from encounter to encounter.
What Are Mechteria Keys Used For?
As mentioned earlier, Mechteria Keys are used to open the white chests that look more advanced, but not as advanced as the chests that require Machine Keys. Since these chests require a key, the loot contained within is always better than a chest that doesn’t require a key. You can get powerful consumables like Elixir and stronger gems, but you can also get powerful armor like the Barrier Bangle from the Mechteria Chest in En with the man kneeling next to it.
Make note of the location of these chests, as they are all worth coming back for once you’ve unlocked fast travel.
