Here’s the best Monopoly GO strategy for December 14, 2024, to help boost your progress in the Haunted Mansion minigame.
How To Play Haunted Mansion in Monopoly GO
First things first, you need to find a reliable team to conquer the challenges in Haunted Mansion. To play this minigame, you need to team up with seven players. If you can’t fill all partner slots, don’t worry—incomplete teams automatically merge before the adventure begins so that everyone gets a chance to play.
If you’re unhappy with how your team is forming, you can leave before the Haunted Mansion event officially begins. Once the team is complete and the adventure starts, you’re with them till the end.
Once inside the mansion, your team will be assigned a mission objective for each level. These can include fixing items in the room, finding hidden objects, lighting up candles, and even feeding ghosts some pizza. Tap on the different objects to bring up the Haunted Mansion’s unique card game.
Haunted Mansion Card Game, Explained
Once you interact with an object, you’ll find three numbers displayed on the back of two playing cards. Beneath the playing cards, you’ll see the required number of Haunted Mansion tokens needed to attempt the challenge. Tap on this button to begin the card game.
Your goal is to try and draw two cards from a separate deck of 40 cards. The sum of the two cards you draw must be equal to or higher than the number shown on the playing cards. For example, if the number on the playing card is 20, you need to pull cards that total 20 or more to complete the challenge.
Of course, the outcome of the cards you draw is entirely based on luck. You’ll often fail to match the number on the playing cards and waste a few tokens before getting it right. To improve your chances of winning, consider targeting the lower numbers first. It’s likely that you’ll draw cards that are higher in value and successfully complete the challenge.
If you draw doubles (or even triples), you get to draw an extra card. This way, you have a surefire chance of completing a challenge.
Below each playing card, you’ll notice bluish dots. Each dot represents a segment of the progress bar that will be filled when you complete the corresponding challenge. One dot means one segment. Higher numbers usually have three dots, which means they can help you fill the bar and clear the milestone faster.
Each room in the Haunted Mansion has its own set of obstacles and challenges that your team must overcome. While each player uses their own tokens, you work together to progress through the room. The rooms also have a hidden Treasure Chest. It’s completely optional to open them and only one player can claim the rewards, so choose wisely.
