Multiple Pokemon TCG Pocket events have taken place so far, encouraging players to battle and use the Wonder Pick feature for bonus rewards. But there’s something even more exciting on the horizon.

Arguably the biggest day for Pokemon TCG Pocket since its launch will be Tuesday, December 17. On that day, Pokemon TCG Pocket players will be treated to the new Mythical Island expansion. On top of that, they will also have the chance to get bonus free hourglasses thanks to the Holiday Countdown Campaign. Between the new cards to collect and the chance to get more hourglasses, December 17 has become a must-play day for Pokemon TCG Pocket fans.

Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s Mythical Island expansion, launching December 17, will add over 80 new cards to the mix, including Mew, Celebi, and Aerodactyl EX cards. The way Pokemon TCG Pocket works, players can open two free perks per 24-hour period. Otherwise, they have to spend hourglasses to speed up time. Pokemon TCG Pocket gives players the chance to earn pack hourglasses through leveling up, completing challenges, and more, and soon, players will have yet another way to get free hourglasses in the game.

A special log-in event will take place in Pokemon TCG Pocket on December 16, December 17, and December 18. By logging in to the game in the 10:00pm PST to 9:59pm PST window on December 16 to December 17, December 17 to December 18, and December 18 to December 19, players can unlock 12 free hourglasses each day for a total of 36 free hourglasses. So not only will December 17 gives players new Pokemon TCG Pocket cards to collect, it will also let them get more hourglasses as part of the Holiday Countdown Campaign Event.
