Best Cars With Guns In GTA Online

Best Cars With Guns In GTA Online

Summary

  • Grand Theft Auto Online offers nearly 100 weaponized vehicles with guns or customizable armory for players to choose from.
  • Key vehicles like Nightshark, Scramjet, and Toreador come equipped with machine guns, missile launchers, and superior handling.
  • The APC is a military tank with a cannon turret and rear-facing machine guns, perfect for ambush missions despite its slower speed.

In Grand Theft Auto Online, players can acquire personal land vehicles that are weaponized with missiles, turrets, machine guns, and even grenade launchers. These vehicles are either pre-equipped with mounted weapons or can be individually customized with their selection of combat armory. When entering weaponized vehicles, Passive Mode is automatically disabled, meaning that other players can actively hunt and eliminate whoever provokes lobby members by driving around in a heavily armored tank.

Vans are a great vehicle for players that are looking to transport a lot of people for a variety of reasons, and these are the best vans to pick up.

There are almost 100 weaponized vehicles to choose from in Grand Theft Auto Online, ranging from helicopters to off-roading trucks, motorcycles, and Sedans. Only a handful of them are worth obtaining and customizing as a go-to vehicle for wreaking havoc. Many of the car models tend to be a good choice for players who prioritize durability, accessibility and simply need an everyday ride to protect themselves from both law enforcement and trigger-happy opponents. Here are the best cars in Grand Theft Auto Online that are either manufactured with guns attached already or can be customized to add them on.

6 Nightshark

An Off-Road SUV With Four Retractable Machine Guns

  • Type: Off-Road
  • Price: $1,245,000
  • Top Speed: 104.75 mph

The Nightshark is an off-road SUV that was added to Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Nightshark Week event in 2017. It was originally added to be a mission-only vehicle for “Exit Strategy,” but became available for purchase as part of Nightshark Week. The Nightshark has exceptional handling, and an admirable top speed, and its reinforced bumper can easily push other vehicles off the road or tip them over completely without sacrificing too much speed. It comes equipped with four retractable machine guns housed in individual vents within the front bumper.

When players wish to fire them, the ventilation holes open up and the machine guns extend out. So long as the SUV is fitted with heavy plating and players duck down to avoid gunfire, it’s pretty much bulletproof. Essentially, the Nightshark has the feel of a super-turbo-armored Kuruma with the shape and durability of an Insurgent.

5 Scramjet

A Sports Car With Machine Guns And Missile Launchers

  • Type: Super
  • Price: $4,000,000
  • Top Speed: 137.00 mph

The Scramjet is a two-door sports car that was added to Grand Theft Auto Online during the Scramjet Week event in 2018. Its streamlined shape is reminiscent of the Alfa Romeo Coupé and the Ferrari 250 P5 Berlinetta. Although the Scramjet offers little to no resistance against projectiles (it can be destroyed outright by a homing missile), its rocket booster is superior to other vehicle models and allows it to jump over barriers and roadblocks with ease. The Scramjet is equipped with two machine guns (front-facing) and two homing missile launchers.

The machine guns are formidable against light to medium-armored vehicles but are weaker against heavily armored ones. Although the missiles have a reduced lock-on range, they have exceptional tracking capabilities, which makes them exceedingly difficult to avoid without performing some ridiculous and dangerous maneuver.

4 Toreador

A Four-Door Sports Car With Machine Guns And Dual Missile Launchers

  • Type: Sports Classics
  • Price: $4,250,000
  • Top Speed: 135.25 mph

The Pegassi Toreador is a four-door civilian sports car that arrived in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Cayo Perico Heist update. The design of the Toreador is based on a Lamborghini, specifically a Marzal, and also draws inspiration from the Urraco and Espada models. Like the Stormberg and Deluxo, the Toreado is distinguished by its ability to switch between a land vehicle and a submarine and is armed with two machine guns that protrude from the bonnet when activated, as well as dual missile/torpedo launchers embedded in the central panel.

These purchasable items in GTA Online may look cool but are ultimately a waste of money.

When its armor is maxed out, the Toreador can withstand six missile blasts, but even then, it’s hard for anyone to get a lock-on with the car’s superior boost. Since the Toreador has no special icon on the map, it’s perfect for sneaking up on Oppressor MK2s and wiping them out before they even know what hit them.

3 Armored Paragon R

A Two-Door Civilian Sports Car With Machine Guns And Superior Handling

  • Type: Sports
  • Price: $905,000 (Base Model)
  • Top Speed: 121.50 mph (Post-Customization)

The Paragon R and its armored variant are two-door civilian sports cars that were implemented as part of the Diamond Casino & Resort update. It might seem like an underwhelming reward for completing the casino missions, but once it’s decked out, the Paragon R becomes a worthy competitor for some of Grand Theft Auto Online‘s top cars. There are a few main takeaways for the Armored Paragon R; it’s fast, it’s efficient, and it handles well compared to some other vehicles. Plus, it’s free, and everyone loves free stuff.

Like the Scramjet, the Armored Paragon R’s machine guns are more effective against vehicles with no or light armor, but they have slightly increased damage compared to like-minded vehicles like the Blazer Aqua and Ruiner 2000.

2 Weaponized Tampa

A Two-Door Muscle Car With A Gatling Gun, Remote Turret, And Missile Launchers

  • Type: Muscle Car
  • Price: $2,108,050
  • Top Speed: 118.90 mph (Post-Customization)

The Weaponized Tampa is a two-door muscle car introduced as part of the Gunrunning update in Grand Theft Auto Online. The Tampa features a roof-mounted gatling gun, but it can also be modified to add four front-facing missile launchers, a swiveling remote turret, and even dual mortar launchers attached at the rear. In addition, the Tampa can be fitted with proximity mines, which operate similarly to remote explosives that are controlled by the driver.

Armor upgrades install plated panels and bullbars, so even if it still leaves occupants exposed to gunfire, they have more time to evacuate the vehicle in the event of an impending implosion. For Tampas, it’s essentially a trade-off of protection in exchange for firepower, so it all depends on which trait is deemed more valuable.

1 APC

A Military Tank With A Canon Turret And Rear-Facing Machine Guns

  • Type: Military
  • Price: $3,092,250
  • Top Speed: 63.00 mph

The APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) gained popularity after appearing in The Ballad of Gay Tony before being officially introduced as part of the Gunrunning update alongside the Tampa. Many Grand Theft Auto Online players adore the APC because of its significance in the expansion pack, but it has many redeeming qualities all its own. The vehicle is equipped with a small cannon turret alongside two machine guns able to be operated by the rear passengers. If a player chooses, the APC can be modified with an anti-air missile launcher to substitute for the cannon turret.

The best GTA Online apartments allow players to live in luxury and splash their cash, or, simply put their feet up and relax in safety.

Its biggest downside is needing to switch seats to fire the main weapon, but what it lacks in practicality and speed, it more than makes up for with its endurance and suitability for ambush missions and shooting down choppers. There’s not much that the APC can’t do, even if it’s a little on the slow side as a necessary sacrifice.
