The Game Awards has consistently been one of the biggest gaming industry events of the year since its inception in 2014. The massive award show doles out some of the most coveted prizes in gaming, and it is also home to huge world premiere reveals. The Game Awards 2024 is no different.
Six games were nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2024. Critically-acclaimed 3D platformer Astro Bot, addictive roguelike card game Balatro, tough-as-nails action game Black Myth: Wukong, Elden Ring‘s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, the massive Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and the engrossing JRPG Metaphor: ReFantazio were all nominated for the top prize. These games also found themselves eligible for various other awards, alongside a variety of other titles that were released in 2024.

Neva
