Netflix Games and Yu Suzuki has announced its upcoming anime-style action–adventure title, Steel Paws, scheduled to launch on both Android and iOS in 2025. Developed by Yu Suzuki, the creator of Shenmue and Virtua Fighter, and his studio YS-Net, the game’s reveal trailer was showcased at The Game Awards 2024.

Steel Paws is a dynamic anime-style action-adventure title where you take on the role of a girl embarking on a journey with her Buddy Robots to conquer a mysterious tower that reappears once every century. The protagonist has various abilities for you to master and you can also upgrade the robot companions. You unlock new enemies and rewards as you progress.
The game is being developed by Yu Suzuki, renowned for his various successful iconic games like Space Harrier, OutRun, Virtua Racing, Virtua Fighter series, Shenmue series, and more. Thanks to his contribution, SEGA got numerous hit games, enabling the company to compete with Nintendo.
Although there isn’t much information about the game, we can expect a lot, especially with Mr Suzuki and his studio, YS-Net behind it. The reveal trailer looks like a short captivating anime video, introducing the girl protagonist alongside her robot companions, and looks very cool and well-designed. The game’s environment design, character models, and overall visuals look very promising and we can expect a captivating storyline.
