Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian creator genDESIGN has shared a very brief trailer for its next title, tentatively titled Project Robot. It was a very mysterious little trailer, as a person climbed up a large mech which appeared to look like the third Colossus from Shadow of the Colossus, Gaius The Knight.
Our presumed protagonist then jumps into the mech’s head, which detaches from the main body before a wave of light washes over both of them. That’s all we got from the trailer, and we didn’t get a release date, which suggests that we’re going to be waiting for a long time before we actually get this game in our hands.
The Game Awards was a banger of a show this year, featuring some truly massive announcements. On top of a new game from the Shadow of the Colossus creators, we also got a first trailer for The Witcher 4, which confirmed that Ciri will be the game’s protagonist. We also got a new game from FromSoftware called Elden Ring: Nightreign, as well as a cool-looking Ninja Gaiden game from the developers of Blasphemous.
