A stacked bracket has seen both MOUZ and Team Spirit make it to the Semi-Finals for one huge head-to-head. These are two teams that have never been to the Grand Final of a Major before, meaning we’re guaranteed to see one roster tested like never before on Sunday. First, the business ahead though.
These teams are largely tied on an individual level, but there’s one factor you can’t ignore: donk. The young rifler has put on a remarkable show in China so far, and doesn’t seem fazed by the dizzying lights of the stage. His immense level of performance certainly shows no signs of stopping in the PW Shanghai Major 2024 Semi-Finals. That’s why we think this will be a three-map affair, with Team Spirit eventually winning out the series.

G2 vs. FaZe Clan

G2 vs. FaZe Clan is another star-studded match with tons of narratives surrounding it. NiKo vs. karrigan – old teammates facing off once again on Counter-Strike’s biggest stage of all. It could also be NiKo’s last game in a G2 jersey. The same could be said of several FaZe Clan players. The stakes are higher than just a Major Grand Final berth in Shanghai.
Over the course of the tournament, G2 have looked by far the more impressive of these two teams, but it’s not quite as simple as that. FaZe’s win over Vitality in the Quarter-Finals was legit, and we could see them pulling a shock result out of the bag here. From Pick’Ems to predictions, we’ve gone heart over head for G2 throughout this event. We’re not stopping now. FaZe will take a map, but this is G2’s to lose.

If these two PW Shanghai Major 2024 Semi-Finals predictions come to fruition, it sets up a NiKo vs. donk Grand Final. CS’ greatest rifler and the best player never to lift a Major vs. the new kid on the block still in his rookie year. It would be a tremendous narrative, and one that we’d love to see unfold.
