Considering the sheer number of whacky and wonderful individuals that occupy the One Piece world, being an extroverted character who enjoys hanging out with others as much as possible can be a beneficial personality trait. There have been numerous characters in One Piece who could be considered extroverts for how loud, expressive, and sociable they can be, though this can also come with a few drawbacks.

Sometimes, these characters will end up revealing a little too much information to the enemy, but it can also cause them to become a little bit of an annoyance for others. However, when all is said and done, being an extrovert is far from a bad thing, and it can ultimately end up making a character very endearing to watch and follow along the journey.

8 Ulti

Possesses More Energy Than She Knows What To Do With

While the other members of Kaido’s Tobiroppo come across as quiet and mysterious characters, Ulti is the complete opposite, always screaming her head off and ensuring she is at the center of attention. Most of the time, this comes at the annoyance of her brother, Page One, who is always on the receiving end of her insults.

Ulti doesn’t even stop yapping when she comes across a new opponent, as shown when she can be seen belittling Nami during their confrontation in the third act of the Wano arc. It constantly feels as though Ulti has more energy than she knows what to do with, resulting in her being a very loud and extroverted member of the Tobiroppo crew.

7 Vinsmoke Sanji

Despite A Lonely Childhood, Sanji Became An Extrovert Thanks To His Time As A Chef

Despite being the lonely outcast of his family when he was younger, Sanji grew up to be a very fun-loving and sociable individual who always brings a lot of joy to the Straw Hat crew. Sanji’s extroverted personality does make a lot of sense considering he was a cook for many years and would have interacted with hundreds, even thousands of customers during his time at Baratie.

There have also been times, though, when Sanji will speak out loud when he probably shouldn’t, especially when he’s around attractive women. Rather than allowing his tragic childhood to force him into isolation, Sanji decided to embrace his newfound friends who are always there to support him along the journey to reach the One Piece.

6 Queen

Always Needs To Be The Center Of Attention

Queen and King, Kaido’s two right-hand men, are the complete opposites of one another in terms of personality. While King is the silent, stoic type, Queen is a character who craves attention, as shown when he puts on an entire performance at Onigashima where he can be seen busting a few moves on stage for everyone to admire.

During said performance, all of Kaido’s soldiers seem to be infatuated with Queen, indicating that he’s the type of guy whose infectious charisma makes everyone want to be around him. The amount of talking he does through the Wano arc also implies that he loves the sound of his own voice and rarely ever closes his mouth whenever he’s on-screen.

5 Big Mom

Loves Nothing More Than Planning Big Get-Togethers With Her Large Family

Unlike her fellow Yonko, Kaido, who can often be seen drinking away his sorrows all by his lonesome, Big Mom is always surrounded by people — or to be more specific, her Homies. Even when she’s napping or digging into yet another gigantic cake, there will always be living inanimate objects flying around her, or she will be accompanied by one of her many children who make up her crew.

As was seen in the Whole Cake Island arc, Big Mom also thoroughly enjoys organizing big and elaborate events for her and her family to enjoy together. Of course, that arc also showed that ruining these kinds of get-togethers, and especially removing the food part, can turn her into a crazed behemoth, but Big Mom nonetheless still comes across as a massive extrovert from what fans have been able to see of her.

4 Donquixote Doflamingo

Extroverted Villain Who Always Says Whatever Comes To His Sick And Twisted Mind

Cocky, brash, and unapologetically rude, Doflamingo is a character who rarely ever thinks before he speaks, and as a result, he ends up expressing himself plenty of times throughout the course of the story. When he’s not giving loud and obnoxious speeches about the state of the world for everyone to hear, Doflamingo enjoys spending time with his new family and belittling the people of Dressrosa who are forced to serve under him.

Many fans of One Piece will make comparisons between Doflamingo and Crocodile, but while the latter is a more closed-off and secretive individual, Doflamingo always tries to make his presence known, as evident through his flashy dress sense. The fact that Doffy has been confined to an Impel Down cell with seemingly nobody to talk to must be killing him inside considering his extroverted personality.

3 Portgas D. Ace

Just As Much Of A Fun-Loving People Person As His Younger Brother

While Ace only makes a few physical appearances throughout the One Piece story, it’s made pretty clear that, along his adventures, the former Whitebeard crew member was just as extroverted as his younger brother. Ace dedicated himself to the Whitebeard ‘family,’ always seen hanging around with his allies — and even hunting down Blackbeard due to him turning his back on the crew.

Ace’s more outgoing nature is also mentioned by other characters that Luffy stumbles across in the story, such as Otama, for example, who explains that she had met Ace even before the Straw Hats arrived in Wano. It’s unfortunate that Ace never got a chance to interact with the Straw Hats for very long due to his sudden demise, since being such a people person would have made him a fun character to join the Sunny every now and again.

2 Gol. D Roger

The Legendary Pirate Could Always Be Seen Having A Jolly Good Time With His Crew — And His Enemies

Any time Gol D. Roger shows up in a flashback, he can always be seen having a jolly good time with his crewmates — or sometimes even his enemies. The legendary pirate seemed to love nothing more than drinking and singing happy pirate songs aboard his ship, but he would also interact with all the locales he came across along his journey too, and he even sat down to have a conversation with Whitebeard a few times.

He’s also been shown to be a character who always says whatever is on his mind, no matter how inappropriate or random it might be, which is eerily similar to Luffy. From the small glimpses of Roger’s past that have been shown, there’s no doubt being on his ship would have been an absolute blast, considering how much he loved to socialize.

Luffy is one of the most extroverted shōnen protagonists ever created, and as a result, he’s made literally hundreds of friends during his many escapades with the crew. Luffy has the unique ability to make friends with pretty much anyone he comes across — of course, so long as they’re not a villain who’s up to no good. He’s easily excitable and loves being around his fellow nakama as much as possible, to the point where it’s virtually impossible to ever see him alone.

Luffy is also the type of character whose boundless energy will always see him leaping into action head-on, rather than ever feeling worried or anxious about the consequences. All of this creates a very outgoing and sociable captain who has been an absolute joy to watch since he first appeared in the series.
