How to Complete All Goals in Canyon Path in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind
As part of Episode 1: Yesterday of the Dumpster, Canyon Path is the very first level that players will experience in the game, and at this stage, you are probably not aware of the special goals that can be completed. They include:
- No Deaths
- S Rank (5:10:0)
- 3/3 Secrets
No Deaths and S Rank
For this goal, it is simple. Keep your chosen ranger out of harm’s way, and with the common enemies found on this level, it is not too tricky. The Putty Patrollers are easy to defeat, and go down with just four hits. The ones you will need to look out for are those with drills and boulders for hands. For the former, let them rush past you and knock themselves down before you engage them, while for the latter, hit them once to get them to block, then simply get behind them to get your free hits in.
There are also a couple of explosive barrels and objects that enemies like to throw at you, so remember to dodge through them when you can and get out of range of the explosions to avoid getting damaged. The parts with the dropping rocks are the biggest threat, so rush through them if you can. Should you get damaged, look for the trash cans containing food items that can restore your health.
While you can play it safe just to get through with no deaths, this first level is relatively manageable for the Power Rangers to keep driving forward. Try to get enemies to crowd together so you can take them out with a single combo, and you should be able to hit the target timing without any fuss.
Secrets
In total, three different secrets can be found on this level. In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, secrets include collectible items as well as characters who can be rescued. And in Canyon Path, they are:
- Secret 1: When you are on the cliffs, look for the train tracks with a barrier. You will spot a rock just to the right of the barrier; the secret is found by going behind the rock.
- Secret 2: Once you reach the town, you will eventually walk past a dumpster. Hit the switch next to it to open the dumpster and rescue Mr. Caplan.
- Secret 3: Moving forward, you will reach an alley with a vending machine. Hit the trash can here and grab the object that falls out of it.
With all three goals completed, you are now free to move ahead to the next level and pursue other goals.
