Announced during The Game Awards, Killing Floor 3 is launching on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC in March 2025. The sequel is releasing nearly 10 years after Killing Floor 2, taking place in 2091 after a mega corporation has bioengineered killing machines referred to as Zeds. As a member of the rebel group Nightfall, you need to take down these monstrous hordes.
Since Killing Floor 3 takes place decades after the last entry, the Zeds have been juiced up. In a previous trailer, Tripwire showed off many of the upgraded Zeds, which have explosives and weapons, making for much meaner and grizzlier hordes. Luckily Nightfall has had decades of technological advancements for their weapons, offering a larger variety of ways to slaughter enemies.
Killing Floor 3 is an co-op horror first-person shooter, tasking squads of up to five people to gun down massive hordes of bioengineered monsters with explosive bows, big machine guns, and a number of other weapons. Killing Floor 3 will have cross-play between all platforms and has an upcoming closed beta that you can sign up for on the official website.
