The new Syndicate you can find in Höllvania called The Hex, a group of people struggling to keep their sanity as the year comes to an end, and with it, the end of this ruined city as a whole. Here’s all you need to know about them.

What Is The Hex?

The Hex is a Syndicate that resides in the Höllvania Central Mall during the year 1999. This group of individuals is trying to find Albrecht Entrati so he can revert the Technocyte virus that afflicts them, and is composed of the following members:

• Arthur Nightingale – Codename: “Broadsword”
  • The leader of the group, Arthur is a tough guy who wants to live but not at the cost of other people’s lives, which makes him clash a bit with his teammates.
• Eleanor Nightingale – Codename: “Salem”
  • Arthur’s sister and the psych-ops of The Hex, Eleanor have an underlying connection to the techrot that nobody wants to explore.
• Aoi Morohoshi – Codename: “Chopper”
  • Aoi is the mechanic and second-in-command in the group, the bubbly magnetic warrior brings the fun in an otherwise dark, grim, and violent environment.
• Quincy Isaacs – Codename: “Stepper”
  • The sniper of the group and a badass by nature, Quincy is a bad boy with a heart of gold that supports the team from afar.
• Amir Beckett – Codename: “Jitter”
  • The gamer of the group and electronics technician, Amir is a Volt-related protoframe, which gives him strong electric and speed-based powers.
• Leticia Garcia – Codename: “Belladona”
  • The strategist and only medic of the group, Lettie is a Trinity protoframe with an attitude that doesn’t match her amazing restorative powers.

How To Unlock The Hex Syndicate

You will unlock this syndicate once you finish the main story quest of 1999; after you go back in time, you’ll rewind the grim ending that The Hex had during the quest, which will open new possibilities for you to explore. This will allow the retro computer on your orbiter to display several menus in it, and you’ll be able to freely travel to the mall to visit each character and discover what they have to offer.

How To Rank Up

To rank up the Syndicate, you must complete bounties and farm Syndicate Standing. You will begin at Rank 0 with a maximum amount of 5,000 standing until you reach your limit, and then offer a certain amount of items and Hollars to advance to the next rank.

Hex Treasures

If you need some extra Standing you can go to Lettie and trade her the following Hex Treasures (items you can come across in missions and bounties in Hollvania) in exchange for some Standing:

Vendors And Rewards

As you rank up the syndicate, you will be able to buy different items from Amir, Aoi, Quincy, Lettie, and Eleanor. These go as follows:

Amir

Amir sells Glyphs, Weapon Blueprints, and Warframe Blueprints:

Aoi

Aoi sells several music additions for your Orbiter:

Quincy

Quincy sells Sigils, Glyphs, Cosmetic accessories for the Drifter, Weapon Skins, Captura Backgrounds, and Simulacrum Backgrounds:

Eleanor

Eleanor sells the newly-introduced batch of Arcanes. In the future, Eleanor will also sell Technocyte Coda Weapons.

Relationship And Romance System

Once you have the syndicate unlocked, one of the tabs in the retro PC at your orbiter will show a retro-looking chat platform. You must click on each character’s profile and you’ll notice introductory messages you can answer to; depending on your choices, you will advance in your relationship with that character.

On top of that, you’ll be able to send them a gift after each chat conversation, and depending on what you learn about them, you’ll know what to choose, which in turn gives better results. Last, you will also be able to obtain Chemistry experience by doing Bounties; each bounty will boost the chemistry with a specific character, and that character will accompany you in the mission.
