How To Make Golden Apple Pie
As mentioned above, food is important to Disney Dreamlight Valley, as not only will some recipes be required for quests, but players will also need to keep their character fed within the game. Certain foods can give the player more money than other recipes upon selling them, especially when they require more expensive ingredients or are higher in star rating. One of the better recipes is the Golden Apple Pie.
This recipe doesn’t take much to make and offers plenty of benefits for the player. An important note is that the player will need to have the Storybook Vale DLC to make this meal. Unfortunately, players who don’t have the DLC will not be able to make Golden Apple Pie as it requires ingredients from the biomes within the expansion, and they cannot be picked up from someone else’s valley without owning the DLC. Below is a list of the ingredients required to make Golden Apple Pie.
- Wheat x1 – The first ingredient for the player to gather is Wheat which can be found in Peaceful Meadow and Ancient Landing. Players can find this ingredient from Goofy’s Stall in full-grown form or seed form. If the player wishes to buy it from the stall, it will cost 3-star coins. Growing this ingredient takes 1 minute outside Peaceful Meadow and Ancient Landing. Within Peaceful Meadow and Ancient Landing, it takes only 54 seconds.
- Shovel Bird Eggs x1 – The second ingredient the player needs is Shovel Bird Eggs. This ingredient can be found in The Storybook Vale. The player will need to purchase Goofy’s Stallwithin The Blind. This stall will also need to be upgraded to level 2, and it will cost the player 80-Star coins to obtain this ingredient.
- Golden Apple x1 – The third and last ingredient is a Golden Applewhich can be found in Mythopia. Just like Shovel Bird Eggs, the player will need to upgrade Goofy’s Stall to level 2 in Mythopia. This ingredient sells for 110-Star Coins.
The player will then need to head to a cooking station, combine all three ingredients, and complete the cooking process with a piece of coal. This will create and unlock the Golden Apple Pie, which can then be found under the dessert in the Storybook Vale part of the catalog. This meal sells for 268-Star coins and restores 894 energy.
