Farming Simulator 25 has implemented a variety of fixes for fans to check out as part of its December 2024 update. According to the new patch notes, this update doesn’t add substantial new content, but it should make Farming Simulator 25 more stable and enjoyable to play.
Farming Simulator 25 is the latest installment in the long-running agricultural-themed game series developed by Giants Software. Released in November 2024, the new game features improved weather and visuals thanks to the Giants 10 Engine. In addition, a plethora of new content has been added compared to previous entries in the franchise. While Farming Simulator 25 has only been out for around a month, the developer looks committed to improving the gameplay experience through new updates.

Recently, Giants Software started rolling out Update 1.4 for Farming Simulator 25, bringing a wide range of changes and improvements to the PC and console versions of the game. As a general note, the developer revealed “major improvements” had been made to help the game run better. In addition, the latest patch improved the AI systems for Field and Go-To workers. Some other changes implemented in Update 1.4 include a better advanced graphic settings menu, visual enhancements to various machines, and improvements to forestry mulchers and wave simulation on rice fields.
Beyond these changes, Giants Software noted a few “new additions” added to the game. While nothing major, Update 1.4 made Massey Ferguson Prime Twine and Netwrap+ available as branded consumables. In addition, JD wheel weight support was added for Groundking & TM1000 wheels. A new setting for foliage was also added to the settings that gives players more control over visuals, while a few tweaks were made to modding for Farming Simulator 25.
Farming Simulator 25 also made numerous fixes to help create a smoother gameplay experience by squashing bugs. The list contained fixes for everything from issues with crops in Farming Simulator 25 to various machinery. In addition, a GPU change was implemented for some PC users along with enhancements for controller support when steering in the game.
When releasing this latest update, Giants Software noted that it would continue working to improve the stability and performance of the game for console players. According to the developer, even more updates to address unresolved issues are expected in the coming weeks. Hopefully, these patches, along with the new Update 1.4, will help make Farming Simulator 25 as fun as possible for the game’s community of faithful players.
