We’ve seen some glorious crossovers in Fall Guys. Star Trek, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and many more have been bean-ified for our amusement. But the best may be yet to come, since Mediatonic is teasing an appearance from chaos incarnate themselves, The Muppets.
Yes, Fall Guys, the cutest multiplayer game known to man, appears to be getting Kermit the Frog and his troupe of performers. Well, at least Kermit anyway, since he’s the only costume that’s been teased so far, but Miss Piggy won’t be far behind at the very least.
Then you’ll have Fozzie, Gonzo and Rizzo, and before you know it the whole gang is jumping around trying to avoid the goo. This comes from the official Fall Guys Twitter/X account, where a gif of the Kermit costume was tweet, featuring The Muppets branding, and the tagline, “Imagine if we….”.
Imagine if you brought The Muppets into your joyous platform game? You don’t need to ask. This is happiness we could all use right now. Imagine Kermit bouncing around like a pinball in one of the early races. Or Gonzo getting stuck between someone dressed as a unicorn and another as a pirate.
It’s the kind of thing Fall Guys was made for, to be quite honest. Mediatonic has enjoyed recurring appearances from Disney properties, incorporating classics such as The Jungle Book and major franchises including Star Wars. The Inside Out films just got added. The Muppets would be just another step in that evolution.
