GamingonPhone asked a few questions and mentioned that MOONTON has a long connection with Malaysia. We also mentioned that Mobile Legends is very popular in the SEA countries. Malaysia sees esports as a potential booster of International Tourism
Malaysia provides a unique way of having fun. The tourism industry is big and offers so many exciting locations to enjoy and spend a chill time. However, the country wants to utilize every possible way to boost its tourism industry.
The more it gets visitors, the more foreign currencies it will have, impacting the economy positively. Thus, the high officials also don’t want to miss these events as a marketing space. The call to visit Malaysia will reach all the corners of the world as the M6 is setting new records in esports.
MLBB M6 World Championship started on the 21st of November 2024, featuring 23 teams. The event is giving away a million dollars as the prize money. The grand finals, which will complete this year’s journey for MLBB esports, are scheduled to take place on the 15th of December 2024 at the IOI Grand Exhibition & Convention Center, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
As the MLBB scene is expanding rapidly, the Malaysian government is also aware that the appeal of this title is massive. So, it’s worth promoting the country’s tourism overall.
