All Cloak & Dagger Abilities In Marvel Rivals
When playing Cloak & Dagger in Marvel Rivals, you can switch between each to get access to their separate abilities. Thankfully, they function fairly similarly, with each of their abilities having similar tactics and playstyles. The real challenge with this duo is knowing when to switch between healing (Dagger) and damage (Cloak).
Each has a barrier of sorts that they can shoot out as a rectangle (Veil of Lightforce or Terror Cape) to either boost healing for allies or make enemies blind and vulnerable. Their primary attack isn’t aim intensive, and you can heal up teammates or finish off low-health enemies fairly quickly by switching between the two characters. They share their Ultimate Ability, which allows you to create a large zone of healing for allies, but also damages enemies if they get in the way. Here are all of their abilities in more detail.

Tips & Tricks For Playing Cloak & Dagger In Marvel Rivals
Cloak & Dagger are a three-star difficulty duo, and each have strong abilities that can support your teammates — with the main difference being that Dagger focuses on healing, while Cloak focuses on protecting allies and blinding and damaging enemies. The key to success with this duo, as mentioned before, is knowing when to switch between the two. Making full use of each of their abilities is essential to getting the most value out of them.
Their Ultimate doesn’t necessarily have the same fight-winning potential like Luna Snow’s or Jeff the Land Shark’s, but it’s incredibly powerful in ensuring your team has the upper hand in fights. So you need to make sure you use it at the right moments to get its full effect. Here are some in-depth tips and tricks to keep in mind when playing as Cloak & Dagger:
Dagger Storm, Then Switch
The nervousness that comes with whether you should switch between Cloak & Dagger usually comes with worrying if your team will have enough healing while you’re playing as Cloak, and Dagger Storm is an easy answer to this problem. This ability creates a sphere that allies can step into for healing over time, keeping them alive long enough that you can switch to Cloak and make use of his abilities to make the enemy’s life a little more difficult.
Besides that, it’s also just an incredibly strong ability that you should try and keep on the field whenever it’s relevant. It lasts for a while, and your teammates will be able to tank some damage while standing inside Dagger Storm so they can still survive while you’re running around as Cloak.

A well-crafted team composition in Marvel Rivals boosts your winning chances, with team-up abilities being essential for success.
Keep Veil Of Lifeforce & Terror Cape Off Cooldown
Veil of Lightforce and Terror Cape are both very strong abilities that can turn the tide of the fight, which means it’s essential to make sure you have them when you need them. Although it may be tempting to throw them out whenever they’re available, it’s not suitable to do so when your team has already won (or lost) the fight, and it’s better to keep them for the next one. Veil of Lightforce can essentially bring your team back from the brink of death if you throw it well, while Veil of Darkforce can throw the enemy off long enough to get picked off.
As a result, your positioning when using these abilities is also important. Although the large rectangle shape of Veil/Cape make them look easy enough to hit enemies and allies, because Marvel Rivals is so fast-paced with a lot of high mobility characters, it can actually be very easy to accidentally miss with this ability. So, make sure you have a good line of sight when you use them in order to hit whoever needs them the most (or to catch as many enemies as possible).
Switch To Cloak When You’re Overwhelmed
Although Dagger can do damage with her normal attack, switching to Cloak when you’re getting overwhelmed by Duelists and flankers is the best defense you have for survival. His attack attaches to enemies very easily, and their health ticks down quickly enough that they’ll either get picked off or try and escape. His Terror Cape ability can also make it very challenging for enemy flankers to survive, as it will make them more vulnerable to damage and limit their vision significantly.
It’s also for this reason that you never want to stray too far away from your team. While Dagger can heal from a distance, using Cloak’s Darkforce against a Spider-Man or Iron Fist trying to pick you off means that your whole team can quickly help to get rid of them if you’re close by.

Marvel Rivals: Hardest Characters To Master, Ranked
Not every character in Marvel Rivals is easy for players to use. Here are the hardest ones to master in the game.
Don’t Forget About Dark Teleportation
The separation of Cloak as damage and Dagger as healing may mean that it’s easy to forget that Cloak’s Dark Teleportation can actually be an incredible tool to help your team ambush the enemy or retreat from a lost fight. This ability not only makes allies invisible to the enemy team, but it also gives them a movement boost that can make all the difference in more aggressive attacks.
Invisibility will stop if allies shoot or use an ability, so try and communicate that you’re going to use it, so your team can play with you accordingly.
Know When To Use Your Ultimate
Cloak & Dagger’s Ultimate is best used in Marvel Rivals when most of both teams are still alive and in the thick of the fight. When you activate it, you’ll immediately dash forward three times across a pretty large space, damaging enemies and healing teammates in the process.
Just be careful while using it, as you can still get shot while it’s active. So,
make sure you’re not launching right to the middle of the enemy team
.
Secondly, make sure there aren’t a ton of obstacles in your way while using it. You can hit a wall or the payload prematurely, which will cut your dash off and make you lose value on the ult. You can direct yourself a bit before the next dash activates, so this should negate the problem a bit if you’ve got a good idea of where to go next with it.
