Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops 6 have been the only Call of Duty games to find their way to Game Pass since Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision. But all that could be changing soon if recent updates are anything to go by.
As we reported a few days earlier, classic CoD titles including Call of Duty 1, Call of Duty 2, and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare all received fresh listings on the Microsoft Store for PC. These store pages popped up out of nowhere, leading to rumors of a Game Pass release in the near future.

Adding further fuel to the rumor mill, two new store pages have now been discovered, belonging to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009), and Modern Warfare 3 (2011). For those wondering how these updates are relevant to Game Pass, Activision classics, such as Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, received similar listings right before joining the subscription service.
While these store pages are a strong hint that Game Pass could be receiving a collection of CoD classics soon, it is by no means a confirmation. There’s also the possibility that the Microsoft Store listings have nothing to do with the service at all. This seems to be the case with Tony Hawk 1&2 Remaster and Singularity since both titles are currently listed on the store without any word of them joining the Game Pass catalog.

Microsoft are yet to reveal the second batch of Game Pass titles for December 2024 so it’s possible that the announcement could be right around the corner. If that is the case, the news will be met with jubilation from fans of the franchise, especially given the iconic status of the Modern Warfare trilogy.
