The Kompakt 92 struggles at anything beyond close-range gunfights so it’s best to maximise its potential while lowering the recoil. Our loadout does exactly that and makes the SMG easier to control.

While the weapon has a clean iron sight, we opted for the Kepler Microflex for a touch of magnification. The optic comes with minimal visual clutter, making tracking enemies across the screen easy. To help contain the recoil, make sure to use the Compensator muzzle and the Vertical Foregrip. Both attachments make the Kompakt 92’s recoil feel less sporadic.

The Reinforced Barrel addresses one of the SMG’s major cons and improves the effective damage range. While gunning down enemies at medium distances will still require skill, the improved bullet velocity is always helpful. Lastly, the Extended Mag III raises the magazine capacity to 60 rounds, a much-required increase especially when you consider the Kompakt 92’s 1091 RPM fire rate.

Next up is Bomb Squad which reduces damage taken from enemy equipment like Spring Mines and Blast Traps while letting you spot and hack them. In the Perk 3 slot, we went with Resolute which boosts movement speed by 15% after taking damage.

The Overkill Wildcard is an absolute must for this loadout, given the Kompakt 92’s shortcomings at ranged combat. The Kompakt 92 is currently a part of the core Warzone meta but it isn’t the best SMG in the game by any means. It hits extremely hard offering insane TTK alongside a rapid fire rate and is best suited for the close-range engagements. This makes it a great pick for Resurgence matches, although it loses out to meta SMGs like the Jackal PDW when it comes to the battle royale mode.

Simply put, the Kompakt 92 can outgun any weapon when it comes to engagements within 12 meters. Beyond that, however, there are better options to pick from.

You can unlock the Kompakt 92 by reaching Level 49, at which point it will be available to use on custom loadouts.

The most obvious alternative for the Kompakt 92 is the Jackal PDW. The SMG is solid at close ranges and also shines at medium distances. Another option to consider is the KSV, which is more versatile but lacks in damage output.
