Fortnite has finally launched its much-awaited OG game mode, bringing the first-ever season of Battle Royale back in 2024. The Chapter 1 Season 1 map returns with an iconic loot pool and meta, like the Double Pump Shotgun, and also brings a new OG pass with a twist on some classic characters.
To level it up, Epic has also added a bunch of themed quests that you can complete while playing Fortnite OG either in Zero Build or Builds-enabled lobbies. Since the new XP system allows you to level up all your passes by earning XP in any experience or game mode, you can even complete these OG quests to level up your Chapter 6 Battle Pass.

Side A quests
- Discover all named locations (13) – 20,000 XP
- Damage opponents within 10 meters using shotguns (750) – 20,000 XP
- Hit an opponent with a Ceiling Zapper, Wall Dynamo, or Damage Trap (1) – 20,000 XP
- Destroy structures or objects with explosives (25) – 20,000 XP
- Dance near fish trophies in different locations (3) – 20,000 XP
- Set off car alarms from different cars (3) – 20,000 XP
- Travel distance wading in water at Loot Lake or Moisty Mire (20) – 20,000 XP

When do Fortnite OG quests expire?
Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 1 quests will expire on January 31, 2025, at 2 AM ET, when Epic begins downtime for their next patch which will bring a new season to the mode.
As leaks suggest, Fortnite OG will consist of all the Chapter 1 seasons which will each be a month long and players will experience the entirety of classic Fortnite once again.
