The Dinner Table Detective Staff & Cast
Mitsuyuki Masuhara is directing the anime, while Mariko Kunisawa is in charge of the scripts. Izumi Kawada is the animation character designer, and Takeshi Hama is handling the music. The character designs for the anime will be handled by Firefly Wedding creator Oreco Tachibana. The anime also revealed the voice actors for the main characters, and they can be found below:

What Is The Dinner Table Detective About
The Dinner Table Detective anime is based on mystery novels written by Tokuya Higashikawa. They are set in Kunitachi, and they follow Reiko Hosho, the daughter of the owner of the Hosho group. Reiko becomes a rookie detective and tries to solve cases. However, she is not alone in her adventures.
She serves under inspector Kazamatsuri, the son of the owner of Kazamatsuri Motors. The duo focuses their attention on solving tough cases. However, Reiko does not work alone, and she often asks her butler Kageyama for help. While Kageyama is super helpful, his aid comes at a price, as he insults Reiko constantly.
The Dinner Table Detective has inspired other projects before the anime, which include a live-action series, a live-action movie, and live-action specials.
The Dinner Table Detective novel was released in 2007. Shogakukan decided to publish three novels, with the first coming out in 2010. A special version was released in 2019.
