What is the 2024 LoL Split 3?
LoL Split 3 is the third and the last part of the 2024 season. Following the end of Split 2, ranks are partially reset, and players have to climb again.
When did Split 3 start?
The third split kicked off on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, with the release of the new Patch 14.19.
When does LoL season end in 2024?
Riot Games has confirmed that the LoL Split 3 2024 is expected to end on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, according to a post by League of Legends Lead Gameplay Designer Matt “Riot Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison.
With the end of the LoL season 2024, the new season will start right after it. There will be quite a few changes coming to the game, including the addition of tier 3 boots, the new epic monster Atakhan, and Nexus respawning turrets.
LoL Split 3 2024 rewards
Just like the previous seasons, players will receive rewards for reaching a certain rank in the game:
- Victorious emote
- Victorious icon
- Champion
- Victorious skin
- Victorious skin chromas (up to a maximum of nine for all rank chromas)
- End of Season ranked icon (one per season year, highest rank across all splits)
- Victorious skin splash border (requires obtaining all three Victorious skins from each split)
- Ranked emote (one per season year, reflecting the highest rank achieved in the season year)
To gain access to the Victorious skin, players will at least need to get to the gold rank. Higher ranks will grant extra chromas for the skin. For Split 2, Sona was the champion chosen for the Victorious skin.
Which champion will get the Victorious skin for LoL Split 3?
The champion has yet to be revealed. According to Riot, announcing the Victorious skin early might have negative influence on ranked participation so players will still have to wait a bit more. There is a chance we might get a jungle champion, though, considering the last Victorious skin for this role was back in 2022 with Victorious Sejuani.
