Blizzard may have yet to officially reveal these skins, but the Overwatch 2 Twitter/X account points to the leaked image being potentially true. In an official post from the Overwatch 2 account, players were asked if they were “hyped for Venture as Toph.” Since that seemingly confirms at least one out of five leaked skins, then it’s not too wild to assume that the other four are accurate, too. The upcoming Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover is one of the many updates planned for Overwatch 2 Season 14, and it brings some of the most beloved characters from the franchise into the spotlight.

While many players are excited about these upcoming skins, there is also disappointment that some of Avatar: The Last Airbender‘s main characters don’t seem to be represented in the crossover. Someone like Azula would be less likely to be a featured character, but the apparent omission of Sokka and Katara is definitely a surprise. However, the presence of Suki is still exciting, since she’s a character that is rarely featured as often in Avatar spin-off media. Despite the exciting prospect of having Avatar: The Last Airbender present in the game, this also helps prove that specific heroes in Overwatch 2 are more likely to get special skins than others. This favoritism is apparent with yet another Kiriko skin. While this can be frustrating for some players who were hoping to see their favorite hero get a skin inspired by the animated series, Venture is at least finally getting some attention this time around.
