- Genre(s): Third-person Shooter
Armored Core is a franchise created by FromSoftware that has continued to be successful over the years since the first title was released on the PlayStation in 1997. While some players have found this original third-person shooter mecha title to be tough, others have found the combat within this game to be just right as players take on the various missions in this FromSoftware title.

7 King’s Field 2
A Brilliant RPG Experience With A Hint Of Dark Souls Influence
Many players that have enjoyed the earlier titles of FromSoftware, such as King’s Field 2, have seen the roots of what then created the Dark Souls franchise from this Japanese gaming company through the aesthetic of the graphically poor world the player can explore.
King’s Field 2 is another title by FromSoftware that some players deem as being the perfect difficulty for players to enjoy. However, others argue that there is a toughness to King’s Field 2 due to the strategy needed even back then in this RPG when battling various monsters.

Even With So Many Characters, This Game Is Just Right
Another game by FromSoftware that has been deemed as just the right difficulty, even when considering the harder titles the company has created, is Enchanted Arms. Although at first glance, a player may feel slightly overwhelmed due to the abundance of characters, the player is able to collect and control as they progress through the game.
The mechanics of this JRPG are easy to pick up to allow the player to instead focus on the interesting story. The game uses turn-based combat, so the player is given more than enough time to plan their attacks with these controllable characters and build a team that they’re proud of.
4 Kuon
A Survival Horror That Is Easy To Survive In
To some players’ surprise, FromSoftware, which is commonly known for making various challenging RPGs, once created a survival horror title back in 2004 for the PlayStation 2. Although survival is in its name, Kuon wasn’t much of a challenge for the players who experienced this horror adventure, as they deemed the difficulty to be just right for the experience.
However, this doesn’t mean that Kuon isn’t an eerie adventure to be had, as there are still moments within this survival horror game that will have players gripping the edge of their seats in anticipation as they avoid the frights while they walk around.

These tasks are incredibly straightforward for the player to complete, with the game mainly focusing on telling a story to the player. The game hooked enough people to allow Echo Night to have several other titles also created.
1 Deracine
An Experimental VR Experience By FromSoftware
- Platform(s): PlayStation 4
- Released: 2018-11-06
- Developer: FromSoftware
- Genre(s): Adventure
Out of all the games developed by FromSoftware, this is not only one of the easiest games they have created but also the most experimental. Deracine is a VR-exclusive title that was available on the PlayStation 4. Due to it requiring the motion controls of this generation of PlayStation, the game lacked a lot of the difficulty that is to be expected of FromSoftware.
This was another graphic adventure that heavily focused on telling the story, as the game explores the theme of existence vs nonexistence as players come to terms with whether Faeries could exist on a mystical island that could shorten or extend a person’s life. Overall, Deracine is one of the easiest FromSoftware games to play and is a great choice for any who possesses a VR headset for PlayStation.
