Stranger Things Season 5 Should Top This Hilarious Suzie Family Scene

Stranger Things Season 5's Rumored New Age Rating Could Signal A Sinister Ending

Summary

  • Fans hope for hilarious scenes like Suzie’s chaotic house visit in Stranger Things Season 5 to balance the conflict.
  • Speculation surrounds Suzie’s return in Season 5, although there’s no confirmation. Dustin’s character hopes for closure.
  • Strong hopes for a satisfying and emotional ending in Stranger Things Season 5, reinventing memorable characters.

It’s been over two years since Stranger Things season 4 premiered on Netflix, and now that the fifth and final season will come out in 2025, I’m among the large group of fans who are trying to guess what could possibly happen. Sure, everyone expects Vecna (Jamie Campbell Brown) to lose, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) to impress everyone with her powers, and more great friendship stories to be told. Without those elements, the last season would be disappointing.

Whether or not the Stranger Things season 5 ending is dark and scary, I have high hopes for these last episodes. And I’m excited to see the gang back together again. But I’m also thinking about one season 4 scene in particular and hoping that there something else tops it.

I Love The Stranger Things Season 4 Scene Set At Suzie’s House And Want An Even More Hilarious Moment

Dustin Henderson’s (Gaten Matarazzo) girlfriend Suzie Bingham (Gabriella Pizzolo) is a hilarious, witty, and clever character, and she made an impression on me despite only appearing in three episodes. I love the Stranger Things season 4 scene when Will Byers (Noah Schnapp), Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), Argyle (Eduardo Franco), and Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton) visit Suzie’s house and meet her chaotic and immature younger siblings. The kids are running wild and playing various games, and it’s a huge mess.

I want a repeat of this scene in Stranger Things season 5. It would be great if the final season uses horror tropes, and with a villain like Vecna, there are plenty of opportunities for scary scenes. But I also think at least one Stranger Things season 5 scene needs to be silly, goofy, and hilarious. This will help balance out the rest of the conflict.

Fans want Stranger Things spinoffs thanks to the fascinating and popular characters who bring humor and intelligence to every scene. Perhaps Robin Buckley (Maya Hawke) and Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer) can team up again and get some necessary information. They could find themselves in a light-hearted and chaotic situation, whether they sneak into Hawkins High School after dark or hide in another character’s house.

There is also an opportunity for a silly scene involving Dustin since he has a tendency to embrace his childlike nature. Although Wolfhard saidStranger Things season 5 tone is action packed, maybe Dustin gets himself into some big trouble. I would love to see him use his charm and intelligence to get out of a jam. Maybe he would think about his old friend Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn) and be inspired to act braver and more grown-up. I don’t think Eddie should come back, but I do think there should be a few references to him. I think it would be too corny for Eddie’s ghost to give Dustin advice on how to get out of this sticky situation, but Dustin could still think about the courage his pal would show if this same thing happened to him.

Pizzolo talked to Popternative.com about shooting the Stranger Things season 4 scene at her character’s home, and it’s interesting to hear her perspective. She said:

“I started out on my 18th birthday and we shot the entire day and then they had a party for me afterwards, and it was a secret surprise party […] and suddenly I was doing scenes with people I never thought I’d be doing scenes with like Finn [Wolfhard] and Charlie [Heaton] and Noah [Schnapp], and Eduardo [Franco] who plays Argyle […] and they made it so fun and so special.”

Is Suzie Coming Back For Stranger Things Season 5?

Gabriella Pizzolo as Suzie Bingham in Stranger Things

While I would love to see Suzie Bingham in Stranger Things season 5, there is no confirmation that Pizzolo is returning. According to the star’s IMDb page, she played Suzie in three episodes of the hit show from 2019 to 2022. There has been no recent news stating that she is coming back, and there are no behind-the-scenes Stranger Things photos featuring Suzie.

I think it would be a huge missed opportunity not to see at least one scene with Dustin and Suzie. She has been an integral part of his journey and coming-of-age experiences. But even if Suzie doesn’t appear again, I hope fans will hear that the couple is still together. Dustin needs a great final storyline and if the show explains where all the main characters end up, I want to hear that Dusitin and Suzie are still in each other’s lives.
