On your journey to explore the mysteries of Luma Island, the third location on the island you’ll be visiting is the frigid, snow-covered peaks of the Mountain. Despite the temperatures and the mischievous crows, the ancient people still inhabited the area, and you’ll find more remnants of their civilizations.

Luma Island: How To Unlock The Forest
If you want to reach the Forest, you’ll need to get the town’s bridge repaired.
Thanks to Old Man Jeffery’s knowledge, you’ll find out there are three more tablets to find, found in three different temples you need to visit. Each one waits for you in locations requiring you to face hostile terrain and dangerous obstacles, and even the temples themselves offer a greater challenge than before.
How To Get Frozen Tablet A
After repairing the Cable Car and reaching the Mountain, the first thing you’ll want to do besides start gathering materials is go to the large ruins slightly northwest of the Cable Car platform.
Speak to Old Man Jeffery again, and like at the Forest, you’ll need to gather three tablets to unlock the central ruin of the Mountain.
The first temple is the Forgotten Mountain Temple. It’s located at the eastern end of the Mountain, and you’ll need to follow the path going northwest from the Cable Car platform to reach it.
Watch out for the bear that roams the Mountain while exploring during the day, as it can kill you in a single hit, and it can’t be hurt or killed by your Whip.
When you arrive at the temple, you’ll need to hit three switches near the entrance within a certain amount of time to open the door:
- The first switch is on the right side of the temple, close to the cliff.
- The second switch is across from the entrance to the temple, on a small mountain peak reachable by a bridge.
- The third switch is on the left side of the temple, down the slope next to the unfinished tent.
If you hit them all in time, the door to the Forgotten Mountain Temple will open, and you’ll be able to go inside and face the puzzles within for your first Frozen Tablet.

Room 1 |
Break the Spider Web and exit the door. Has an Ancient Scale Door which needs a Fluorite and 75 Rock Spirits. Contains a Purple Chest, five nodes of Moonstone Ore, one Spider Web, some Barrels and Vases, and two nodes of Iron Ore. Has an Ancient Seafarer’s Door which needs three Ice Eels and 75 Water Spirits. Contains a Purple Chest, some Barrels and Vases, and two Mountain Flowers. Has an Archaeologist Profession’s door. |
Room 2 |
First, head to the right side of the room, and avoid the rolling saw by waiting in the safe zone against the wall. Run to the top of the room and rotate the fire-breathing statue by the exit door so it faces down. Go to the left side of the room, then walk behind the next fire-breathing statue, rotate it twice so it faces the wall, then go to the middle and around it to the spike panels. Break the Spider Web, then run across each spike panel just as it disappears, pausing at the safe zones as needed. Stop at the second one and go to the right where the fire-breathing statue is and rotate it twice so it faces the wall. Go back to the spike panels and go forward around the corner, then turn the fire-breathing statue by the exit door so it faces down. Walk around the corner past it and turn the fire-breathing statue by the stairs so it faces the pillar. Go back to the entrance and go up the stairs, across the invisible floor, down the stairs, and around to the exit door. |
Room 3 |
Lure the three Bats over to the stairs and kill them, then run past the Wall Icicles to the exit door. Has an Ancient Druidic Door which needs three Mountain Wood, three Mountain Resin, three Mountain Flowers, and 75 Nature Spirits. Contains a Purple Chest, some Barrels and Vases, and a few Mountain Berries, Mountain Mushrooms, and Mountain Flowers. |
Room 4 |
Start by going to the right side, standing on the right side of the bottom-right fire-breathing statue, and rotating it so it faces down while avoiding the wall icicle. Go around the corner to the upper-right fire-breathing statue and rotate it once so it faces the wall. Run back around to the bottom-right statue, go up the now-open path, rotate the upper-right statue so it faces right, then step over to where it was previously blocked while avoiding the wall icicle. Run towards the wall icicle, break the vase, and hide in that safe zone until you can rotate the fire-breathing statue by the door so it faces the wall. Return to the entrance, go over to the left side, and repeat the process: make sure the lower-left statue is facing down, and the upper-left statue is facing towards the wall. Go up the open path, rotate the upper-left fire-breathing statue to the left, and run onto the path it was previously blocking. Break the vase near the wall icicle to make another safe zone, then rotate the fire-breathing statue by the door so it faces the wall. Go to either the left or right sides, and rotate one of the fire-breathing statues against the central pillar once so you have a path through, then exit the room. |
Room 5 |
Introduces a new trap type: the auto-rotating fire-breathing statue. Grab the Ancient Book off the ground, then kill the two Bats flying in the center. Wait for the rotating statue to face towards the door, then run around it to the exit while it moves. Has an Ancient Excavator’s Door which needs five Spider Silk, five Bat Hides, and 75 Lost Spirits. Contains a Purple Chest, two Spider Webs, and some Barrels and Vases. |
Room 6 |
Introduces a new trap type: the wall icicle. Run past the three wall icicle traps, up the stairs, and break the Spider Web. Wait for the next set of icicles to pass, then run across to the safe zone against the wall. Head to the next safe spot, then up the stairs. Wait for the right auto-rotating statue to face up, then run down the path as it moves, avoid the falling rock trap tiles, and then go over to the other side once the left auto-rotating statue is facing left. Go up the stairs, break the Spider Web, then run across to the safe zone on the wall once the wall icicles pass. Wait until they pass again, then run down to the next safe zone, down to the next stairs, but keep to either the left or right sides or else the flame will hit you. Wait for the fire-breathing statue to either face upwards or downwards, then run around the opposite side after the wall icicles pass, and down to the exit door. Has an Ancient Farmer’s Door that needs three Corn, three Cherries, and 75 Earth Spirits. Contains a Purple Chest, some Barrels and Vases, and a few Mountain Berries and Mushrooms. |
Room 7 |
Go around to the spike panel, and run across it once the bottom row disappears, then stop at the first row of tiles right after you cross to avoid the wall icicles. Lure the Bat over and kill it, then run to the next set of safe tiles before the second spike panel, and follow them as they disappear. Lure the second Bat up the stairs and kill it, then go around either rotating statue while it’s facing the opposite direction. |
Room 8 |
Hug the entrance wall, and run diagonally up the long hall as the right-most wall icicle passes by. Pause briefly to avoid any coming towards you, then alternate between the right-most and third-from-the-right icicles until you reach the safe zone. How To Get Frozen Tablet B
The second temple you’ll be going to is the Ruined Mountain Temple, and it’s located at the northern edge of the Mountain. From the Cable Car platform, take the path going northeast this time, and follow it all the way around, past the unfinished camp in the northeast corner.
If you go through the cave near the Ruined Mountain Temple and out the other side, you can kick down a tree log and unlock a shortcut close to the entrance to the Mountain.
This temple has three braziers you need to light using one Mountain Stone and three Mountain Resins each, and all three are located in the surrounding area:
- The first brazier is near the northeastern edge of the map, just down from the unfinished campsite.
- The second brazier is on a curved cliff south of the Ruined Mountain Temple.
- The third brazier is near the northwestern edge of the map, on a slope near the gazebo and decorative statues.

How To Get Frozen Tablet C
The third temple is the Forsaken Mountain Temple, and it is located near the top of the Mountain. Like before, you’ll need to use the path to the northeast by the Cable Car platform to reach it.
How To Find The Forsaken Mountain Temple
Follow it around to the north, past the Forgotten Mountain Temple, and until you reach where the ground is covered in snow, and five Crow Snowmen enemies dot the path.
Defeat them or run past them, and keep following the path as it goes up, hugging the cliff’s edge to avoid the giant snowballs rolling down periodically.
You’ll pass by two different Tribute Statues on the way, as well as Talking Stone Sne on a ledge, and you’ll need to use ten Mountain Wood on some unfinished scaffolding to block the falling snowballs blocking the ledge you need to go across.
On the other side of the ledge, you’ll have to go over a frozen lake with ice tiles that cause you to slide and use the three rocks dotted around the lake to avoid the beam of the Snowstorm Prism.
After that, you’ll have another section of giant snowballs to avoid, including one that has a longer path that bounces off several rocks. Wait in between each snowball’s path, keeping to the edge as usual.
Once you’re through, you’ll have one last area of scaffolding that needs repairing and another section of giant snowballs.
As you’re approaching the next safe area, the first of three gem pillars can be found at the edge of the cliff. Rotate it until a beam of light shoots into the distance, then move forward.
- The second gem pillar is directly south of the Forsaken Mountain Temple’s entrance.
- The third gem pillar is to the right of the Forsaken Mountain Temple, at the edge of a cliff past the next set of scaffolding you need to repair.
When all three beams of light are pointing toward the temple, you’ll get a cutscene of the doors opening up, and you can go inside.

Wait for the rolling saw going up and down to start going to the top and run behind it, break the barrel blocking the safe zone tile, and wait there, or the slightly further ahead one on the left. Let the next left-to-right saw enter the hole on the left side, then run ahead of it and past the next left-to-right saw to the next safe tile in the middle of the room. Once the middle up-and-down saw goes up and the next left-to-right saw goes to the right, run around the corner to the safe spot in between the next two saws. When the slower saw is at the bottom, and the left-to-right saw is in the left hole, you can run ahead of it to the safe spot in the bottom right corner. Wait for the slower up-and-down saw to be in the bottom right hole before running up to the next safe zone on the left side, making sure to dodge the falling rock tile trap. Let the final left-to-right saw go to the left side, and quickly run to the exit stairs while avoiding the last falling rock trap. |
