How to Complete Jade & the Mask Story Quests in Fortnite

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 story is all about hunters chasing down the mysterious demons that appeared on the Battle Royale map. These creatures made their way onto the island through portals that spawned on several named locations and landmarks, and it’s up to players to investigate what happened and get to the bottom of it.

The second set of Fortnite Story Quests is called Jade & the Mask, and gamers will get access to them once they’ve completed Kendo’s Calling Story Quests. This guide will help gamers complete the six quests made available this week so they can proceed with the rest of the story.

There are six stages to complete in order to finish the Jade & the Mask questline.

Speak to Kendo About Daigo’s Use of Dark Magic

Similarly to Kendo’s Calling Story Quests, gamers will have to talk to Kendo before being able to proceed with the rest of the tasks. Kendo can be found at Sakura Plunge, a small pond north of Nightshift Forest.

After talking to Kendo, gamers will want to approach the portal at Sakura Plunge. They mustn’t get too close, as doing so will project them back, but if they keep a safe distance, they’ll be able to investigate it.

Locate Daigo’s Underground Hidden Workshop

Daigo’s Underground Workshop is located in Masked Meadows. However, it is under a building and can be hard to find. Players can access Daigo’s Underground Workshop in Fortnite by entering through the tunnel in the northwestern corner of the POI.

Once inside, they must take the stairs farther down and drop down onto lower platforms until they reach the workshop. It can be confusing down in the tunnels so here is a video to guide players in the right direction:

Once players are inside Daigo’s Workshop, they will notice that they can interact with various artifacts. They must investigate three items in the workshop to move on to the next quest.

Collect a Fire Oni Mask or a Void Oni Mask

Decide to Use the Mask or Rid Yourself of It

This quest’s description may sound confusing at first, but it’s quite simple. To complete this quest, gamers must obtain an Oni Mask and then either use it or remove it from their inventory.

Return to Kendo

Once players have completed all of the quests above, they must return to Kendo at Sakura Plunge and talk to him once again. This will finish the Jade & the Mask questline and grant players access to the next phase of the Chapter 6 Season 1 Story Quests.
