The Marvel Rivals System Requirements have hinted that the game could go as large as 70 GB. That’s the recommended space required for the game, and it’s definitely got the potential to grow, given that five new characters have already been announced, including The Fantastic Four, and a secret character.
The Game also struggles to function on anything other than an SSD, due to the impressive amount of loading needed. SSDs have become a required part of gaming, especially in 2024, with titles such as Space Marine 2 and Path of Exile 2 just not running without being installed on a SSD, despite your PC’s other specs.
For console users this is fine, as modern consoles use SSDs or the cloud as their storage device. Still, for PC users, you might want to make sure you have some space saved before you download this massive title.
Marvel Rivals launched early in December 2024, and has quickly shot to being one of the most played games on Steam alongside Path of Exile 2. A hero shooter with over 30 characters, the game is similar to rival hero shooter Overwatch, but the comparisons between Overwatch 2 and Marvel Rivals are stark.
