When Is The Next Dota 2 Tournament?
Kicking off in January 2025, specifically January 24 to February 2 is the FISSURE PLAYGROUND Belgrade 2025. The organizers, FISSURE, announced that six of such tier-1 Dota 2 tournaments will be happening for the 2024-2025 season, which is a testament of how much FISSURE is putting into the Esports brand.
Shockingly, BLAST Slam II is happening just one day after FISSURE PLAYGROUND Belgrade 2025. We have our concerns regarding the participating teams’ ability to fit both tournaments into their schedule, but it’s going to be back-to-back action as early as January 2025.
Dota 2 Tournament Schedule 2025
Following shortly after FISSURE PLAYGROUND Belgrade 2025 and BLAST Slam II, there are more than 10 other confirmed Dota 2 tournaments throughout the year. Each boasting a generous million-dollar prize pool, there are a lot at stake for Dota 2 teams next year that isn’t limited to winnings.

Notably, The International 2025 by Valve typically occurs between October and November. Then, Riyadh Masters 2025, which invites Dota 2 teams based on their rankings on ESL Pro Tour (EPT) Leaderboard, is a staple too.
