UniVersus has had one of its best years ever, with releases spanning everything from Tekken 8 to Critical Role. It saw two Attack on Titan sets, and crossovers with other anime heavy-hitters like Trigun and Cowboy Bebop.

2025 looks set to keep up the momentum the franchise-hopping TCG has built this year, with the Solo Leveling Challenger Series. Featuring a deck starring Sung Jinwoo as he levels up his abilities to become the world’s most powerful hunter, we’ve got the alternate art you’ll find in the deck’s included Collector booster when it launches on January 10.

The Alt-Art Cards Of UniVersus’ Solo Leveling Challenger Series

Solo Leveling UniVersus Box

Solo Leveling is a Korean web novel, and later an anime that this set uses art from, that follows Sung Jinwoo, the world’s weakest hunter. After he gains the ability to level up his strength, like in a video game, he begins a meteoric rise to become the strongest human in history.

Sung Jinwoo’s deck introduces an entirely new mechanic to UniVersus: the Skill Tree. It hasn’t been revealed what the Skill Tree looks like as of yet, but you’ll be using XP cards throughout the deck to level up and gain access to new abilities.

This inherently makes Sung Jinwoo something of a midrange deck that wants to stall and delay your opponent in the early game, before levelling up to overwhelm therm with power by its close. Cards like Grasp For Survival gain you health to keep you ticking over long enough to use your XP cards, while things like Killing Intent can seal your rival’s foundations to lock them out from getting too far ahead.

There are 20 alt-art cards available, with each coming in both regular and foil print treatments.
