Key Takeaways
- Spider-Man relies on mobility with his Web-Swing to close gaps and ambush enemies effectively.
- Psylocke’s Psi-Blade Dash & Psychic Stealth abilities grant high mobility for swift attacks.
- Star-Lord excels in hit-and-run tactics with acrobatic movement & rocket boots for evasion.
In a game as fast-paced as Marvel Rivals, it always helps to have a little extra mobility to avoid getting blasted to pieces by the enemy team. Additionally, characters who are quick on their feet are also capable of reaching their teammates much more easily to support them in battle, while also enabling them to get the drop on enemies without breaking a sweat.

13 Best Marvel Animated Series, Ranked
Marvel’s library includes several memorable animated series that are worth checking out for fans of Spider-Man, Wolverine, and more.
While some heroes are given extra mobility through their unique abilities, others start with the natural advantage of having just a little extra speed to their base movement, allowing them to skim around the map in no time. Either way, for anyone looking to play heroes and villains who are quick, agile, and tricky for the enemy to target, these are the characters who are worth looking into.
1 Spider-Man
Spidey Is All About Using His Web Swing To Get The Drop On His Enemies
Mobility Abilities:
- Web-Swing: Shoot a strand of webbing to swing
- Thwip And Flip: Double jump
- Amazing Combo: Launch an enemy upward, dealing damage
- Wall Crawl: Crawl and run on surfaces
Spider-Man is a hero whose entire game plan revolves around getting up close and personal with the enemy team before pummeling them with a barrage of punches to finish them off for good. As a result, it means he’s one of the few heroes who doesn’t possess a ranged weapon, but he thankfully has plenty of mobility-based abilities that help to make up for this, the most obvious being his Web-Swing.
While a regular web will be more than enough to launch Spidey across the map, when paired with his Amazing Combo uppercut, he can cross some pretty lengthy distances thanks to the extra air boost. As he wasn’t already agile enough, he also comes with a neat double jump that can help him ambush the enemy team to pick them off from behind.
2 Luna Snow
Luna Possesses A Faster Base Movement Speed To Support Her Role As A Healer
Mobility Abilities:
- Smooth Skate: Keep moving forward to start ice skating
Luna Snow is a healer who largely relies on her ice shards to provide health for her allies. Since these shards have a fairly short range, it’s a good thing that she automatically possesses a faster base movement speed that allows her to skate around at a faster speed than her comrades.
Luna’s ice skating also allows her to jump much higher, which can be handy for overcoming obstacles that have yet to be destroyed by gunfire. Getting back to the frontlines after being killed is a breeze for Luna thanks to her passive skating ability, making her one of the most reliable support characters in the entire game.
3 Psylocke
Psylocke’s Damage-Dealing Dashes Make Her A Tricky Target To Hit
Mobility Abilities:
- Psi-Blade Dash: Dash forward and slice through enemies along the path
- Psychic Stealth: Enter stealth and gain a movement boost
Psylocke, the assassin-archetype of the game, possesses a few unique attacks that enable her to slash her way through groups of enemies without leaving a trace. Her Psi-Blade Dash is one of the fastest abilities in the game, allowing Psylocke to dash forward and dish out damage to anyone in her path. It’s an easy way to get behind the enemy and deal a few backstabs to throw the opponents off their game.

8 Best Marvel Movies That Balance Action & Humor
Marvel movies have become a massive part of pop culture today, but over time certain films have stood out individually for nailing action and comedy.
Then there’s Psychic Stealth, a technique that allows Psylocke to turn invisible while also greatly bolstering her movement speed. Considering that Psylocke’s crossbow reduces the cooldown of her abilities, it means that, when used effectively, she can be almost impossible to hit due to her incredible mobility.
4 Moon Knight
Moon Knight’s Grapple Hook And Glide Allow Him To Cross Distances Easily
Mobility Abilities:
- Night Glider: Enter a gliding state
- Moonlight Hook: Launch a frontal grappling hook that pulls Moon Knight towards it
- Rising Leap: Double jump
Admittedly, Moon Knight’s abilities can take a little getting used to, but when used in succession, it allows him to effortlessly scour the skies, especially his glide, which gives him plenty of time to scope out his latest target. Alongside a double jump being baked into his kit, Moon Knight also possesses a grappling hook, which can be combined with his Night Glider to keep him airborne for a few seconds.
The only downside is using these abilities one after the other will result in Moon Knight being grounded for a little while to wait out the cooldown, but thankfully, he has his Crescent Darts to fend off anyone who gets a little too close for comfort.
5 Rocket Raccoon
With A Rocket Strapped To His Back, Rocket Raccoon Can Dart Around The Map Like Nobody’s Business
Mobility Abilities:
- Jetpack Dash: Dash forward with the jetpack
- Wild Crawl: Run on walls
- Flying Ace: Hold the jump button to fall slowly
Rocket Raccoon is a small but nimble support hero who manages to get across the arena at lightning speed thanks to his Jetpack Dash ability. This can be used in a few ways, since while it can get Rocket back to his allies in a matter of seconds to heal their wounds; it can also be used to warp through enemies to avoid taking damage.
Alternatively, it can also be aimed directly upwards, which will allow Rocket to hover in the air for a few seconds, giving him a chance to rain down bullets onto his enemies from above. To top it off, he’s also able to run up walls with his Wild Crawl ability, which makes navigating some of the larger maps that much easier.
6 Wolverine
Wolverine Is A Ferocious Duelist Who Also Possess Some Impressive Mobility
Mobility Abilities:
- Feral Leap: Leap towards the closest enemy to unleash a barrage of attacks
- Vicious Rampage: Dash forward and perform a claw strike
- Last Stand: Launch enemies into the air and deal damage upon landing
Wolverine is one of the few Marvel Rivals Duelist heroes who isn’t restricted to being a slow and sluggish brute, which makes sense when taking his fighting style into account. Wolverine uses his signature claws to tear the enemy to shreds but to get close enough to deal any amount of damage, he must rely on his Feral Leap and Vicious Rampage to close the distance.
It’s also worth mentioning that Wolverine can be launched great distances by the Hulk as part of a Team Combo, making him even more mobile. While he may not be as fast as some of the other Duelists, Wolverine still boasts impressive speed to work in the role he is assigned to.
7 Venom
Venom’s Swing Can Get Him Airborne In No Time At All
Mobility Abilities:
- Venom Swing: Launch webbing forward, allowing for a singular swing
- Frenzied Arrival: Choose a destination to land and deal damage to nearby enemies
- Alien Biology: Crawl and run along walls
Similar to Wolverine, Venom is another tank hero who seems like he shouldn’t be all that fast, but is still capable of covering plenty of distance through his abilities. The Venom Swing, which is essentially an inferior version of Spider-Man’s Web Swing, allows Venom to use his arms to launch himself across the map, ready to pounce on any unsuspecting victims he sets his sights on.

7 Best Marvel Games With Playable Venom
While there may be a limited selection, some Marvel and Spider-Man games allow players to experience the thrills and action of becoming Venom.
In fact, Venom can be a truly terrifying enemy to face when he’s in the air since his Frenzied Arrival also allows him to propel himself across the map, dealing plenty of damage once he lands. His ultimate attack, Feast of the Abyss, is yet another way for Venom to either avoid the line of fire or get up close and personal with his enemies, though it does only stick around for a few seconds, so using it effectively can take a lot of practice.
8 Star-Lord
Trying To Get A Clear Shot On Star-Lord Is Harder Than It Sounds Considering His Blistering Speed
Mobility Abilities:
- Galactic Legend: Enter free flight and lock onto enemies in sight
- Rocket Propulsion: Gain a movement boost and soar forward
- Stellar Shift: Dodge in the direction of movement while reloading
Star-Lord can be an absolute nightmare for enemies to deal with due to his acrobatic movement and rocket boots. With the click of a button, Star-Lord can propel himself into the sky, firing his dual blasters as he goes, making him a difficult hero to target, especially considering this also grants him a temporary movement boost.
His Stellar Shift ability, which allows him to dodge left and right while pulling off a quick reload, is yet another technique he can use to escape danger whenever he finds himself in a pinch. All of this results in a hit-and-run character who heavily relies on his superior mobility to get him in and out of the action.
