Asobi Studio has announced that Astro Bot will get a level tomorrow, December 12, called Winter Wonder at 6 PM PT // 9 PM ET. It’ll be free for all players, but the game has to be beaten first in order to access it.
At a glance, Winter Wonder looks like exactly how it sounds. It’s a level celebrating the winter season and festive holiday season with bright white snow and Christmas-themed decorations. While Asobi Studio didn’t reveal everything that’ll be in the level to surprise players, it’s been confirmed that new bots can be found.

This year has been a very special journey for us at Team Asobi, and we thank you for joining us,” said Asobi Studio. “Until next time, we wish you a very relaxing and restful end of the year, full of gaming of course, but above all, full of good health and happiness all around.”
Astro Bot has already received a few updates post-launch this year, including new levels to explore, bots to rescue, and different modes to try like speedrunning. Astro Bot has received critical acclaim and is one of Gamespot’s Top 10 Games of 2024. It’s also a nominee for Game of the Year for The Game Awards 2024.
