Where To Find The Hopeforest Portal Stones

Where To Find The Hopeforest Portal Stones

When fighting monsters in episode two of Brighter Shores (Hopeforest), one thing players will eagerly want to do is find and activate the portal. This is because, when injured by creatures, you’re sent back to Hopeport’s Infirmary in the Training Ground and have to walk all the way back to the Town Gates to re-enter the forest.

Thankfully, getting to the Hopeforest portal isn’t too difficult. However, you’ll need to do some grinding and unlock nearby areas on the map first to locate it. This guide will share all the details on where to find the Hopeforest Portal Stone and how to teleport back quickly in the second episode of Brighter Shores.

Where To Find The Hopeforest Portal Stones In Brighter Shores

Unlike Hopeport, there are two portals in Episode Two of Brighter Shores. One is located in the Hopeforest Central Portal Stone area, and the other is in the Hopeforest North Portal Stone region.

Hopeforest Central Portal Stone Location

To reach the first portal, start from the Road to Hopeport region. This is the spawning location when entering the second episode, so you might already be familiar with it. From the Road to Hopeport, head to Forest Clearing. Take the northeast trail leading to Forest Path and keep moving east until you reach Central Crossroads, where you’ll see a giant Thicket in the center (this spot is also crucial for finding the second portal, so it’s worth remembering). Turn south to Ivy Path and take the first path to the east — that’s it, you’ll arrive at the first portal of the Hopeforest.

The Forest Path is
packed with Outlaws
(street thieves) who will start attacking if you get too close, so make sure your weapons are ready. Luckily, tools collected in Hopeport will also work in this new area, so this shouldn’t be a problem. This region is swarming with enemies since it’s near the Goblin Camp, where you’ll find a
Hopeforest Obelisk
and plenty of goblins to take on.

If combat kicks off, you can use the Immunity Spell you learned early in the game to stop it. For players new to Hopeforest and looking to grab some Episode Two weapons and gear, defeating outlaws and goblins is a great way to get started. You can use the loot later, especially for the main Nullify the Corruption story quest. However, it’s better to trigger the teleport first so you don’t risk getting sent back to Hopeport. The Hopeforest Central Portal Stone allows travel to the east side of Episode Two from anywhere in the game.

Hopeforest North Portal Stone Location

To access the second portal (Hopeforest North Portal Stone), you’ll first need to complete the Forgotten Things side quest and defeat the level 60 boss, Scaramdar. This quest is quite long, but it unlocks the full north side of the map, including the area beyond Treeway Clearing. To find the second portal, keep moving north from Central Crossroads straight up to Road to Nowhere Much and turn right.

How To Use The Hopeforest Portal Stones In Brighter Shores

To use a Hopeforest Portal Stones in the game, simply click on the Spell icon at the top left of the screen and hit the Teleport button. This will display both portals from Episode Two (if you have unlocked them). From the menu, tap on either Hopeforest Central or Hopeforest North to reach your destination. Since the Episode Two map is pretty massive, having access to both teleports is super handy for getting back to specific areas — whether it’s to complete quests, sell items to merchants or level up professions.
