Season 14 of Overwatch 2 is here, and with it comes the highly anticipated crossover with Nickelodeon’s critically acclaimed show, Avatar: The Last Airbender. Teased at the end of Overwatch 2‘s Season 14 trailer, eagle-eyed fans caught a glimpse of what appears to be Zenyatta dressed in an Avatar Aang skin. While some are hoping for skins like Blue Spirit Genji, Cabbage Man Wrecking Ball, King Bumi Sigma, and Katara Mei, only one skin has been confirmed.
A potential image of Overwatch 2‘s upcoming crossover skins was initially leaked on TikTok. Blizzard has yet to verify its authenticity, but the timing makes it seem credible. Scheduled to hit the in-game shop on December 17, here’s what players can look forward to from this collaboration.

Players Can Expect 5 New Crossover Skins In Overwatch 2 Season 14
Venture is getting their first Legendary skin in Season 14. Though there are mixed feelings about it being a collaboration skin, their role as Toph Beifong in Overwatch 2‘s collaboration with Avatar: The Last Airbender seems perfect. As the only hero in the game that can dig underground, combining them with the Gaang’s stubborn earth-bending master is an obvious choice. The official Overwatch X account (formerly Twitter) confirmed this skin in a December 5 post.
Past crossovers, such as Overwatch 2‘s collaboration with Cowboy Bebop, typically include at least five skins. Based on the leaked image, which should be taken with a grain of salt, this includes:
- Aang Zenyatta
- Zuko Genji
- Toph Venture
- Suki Kiriko
- Appa Orisa
Notably, there has been some controversy over Kiriko potentially receiving her third collaboration skin, following Le Sserafim and My Hero Academia. Regardless, Orisa as Aang’s beloved sky bison Appa makes a lot of sense, and Zenyatta as Avatar Aang is a match made in heaven. While Blizzard may have missed an opportunity to have Genji as The Blue Spirit version of Zuko, it’s still an exciting concept.
Furthermore, sometimes Overwatch 2 will grant free crossover skins for playing a certain number of matches or through Twitch Drops, such as Season 1’s Soldier: 76 Mumen Rider skin. However, the Overwatch 2 x Transformers collaboration may have done away with this tradition, according to a ComicBook interview with Aimee Dennett, Overwatch 2‘s associate director of product management. As a result, fans shouldn’t count on a free skin in Season 14’s partnership, though it’s still too early to say for sure.
Overwatch 2’s Avatar: The Last Airbender Skin Prices and Extra Details
In the past, individual skin bundles for collaborations cost 2500 Overwatch Coins, with mega bundles set at 6800 Overwatch Coins. To purchase, players will need to navigate to the Overwatch Shop. It’s worth noting that if players only want to buy a skin without the associated emotes and sprays, they can head to Overwatch 2‘s Hero Gallery during the crossover with Avatar: The Last Airbender to purchase them at a reduced price.
Collaboration skin bundle prices may fluctuate at Blizzard’s discretion.
Fans of both mediums can also expect to see a themed event with various challenges that will yield unique player icons, titles, and XP. If it’s anything like Overwatch 2‘s My Hero Academia challenges, cosmetics and XP can be earned by completing 10 to 100 games. Rewards related to Avatar: The Last Airbender are guaranteed, though exactly what they may be is still a mystery. Hopefully, one of these will be an Air Nomad-related player title or something similar.
With Avatar: The Last Airbender crossed off the Overwatch 2 collaboration wishlist, fans can look forward to more partnerships in the future. As Blizzard’s hero-shooter heads into 2025, they can expect more crossovers and fresh content in the coming seasons. Combined with Season 14’s Norse mythology theme, 6v6 playtests, and the introduction of Hazard, there’s plenty for players to be excited about.
