Overwatch 2 is giving away the Fire Engine Bastion Legendary skin as a Twitch Drop to celebrate the launch of Season 14. From now through December 21, fans can pick up this Legendary cosmetic, along with the Ganymede spray, simply by watching four hours of any Overwatch 2 streamer on Twitch.

Season 14 of Overwatch 2 has officially begun, bringing with it a ton of changes to the hero shooter. Beyond a slew of balance updates for over a dozen characters, Overwatch 2 also officially added Hazard, a rebellious Scottish dive tank, to its roster of heroes.

Overwatch: Classic’s success has shown 6v6 team-ups work well, and a permanent addition doesn’t seem as unrealistic as it used to be.

To help celebrate the season, Overwatch 2 also began a brand-new Twitch Drop campaign. From now through December 21, players who tune into any Overwatch 2 streamer on Twitch for four hours will unlock the Fire Engine Bastion, a charming Legendary skin that transforms the robotic damage hero and Ganymede, his trusty bird companion, into firefighters. Fans will also unlock the Ganymede spray along with this new skin.

How to Get Overwatch 2 Season 14 Twitch Drops

  • Connect one’s Battle.net and Twitch accounts, then watch four hours of any streamers in the Overwatch 2 category from now through December 21 at 11:58 PM PST to earn the following cosmetics:
    • Fire Engine Bastion Legendary skin
    • Ganymede Spray

Fire Engine Bastion was originally available in the Overwatch 2 shop in August 2023 for 1900 Overwatch Coins – a $19 value. The Ganymede spray has been available in the game since the original Overwatch, and is much less expensive, as it can be purchased for 25 Overwatch Credits.

Unlike previous Overwatch 2 Twitch Drop campaigns, which have required players to watch for up to 15 hours in order to unlock rewards, fans only need to watch four hours to get the skin. Additionally, rather than having rewards unlocked at multiple tiers, both the skin and spray are unlocked after the full four-hour period.

Unfortunately, Bastion fans who already purchased Fire Engine Bastion in the past won’t be able to get much out of this Twitch Drop campaign. While Overwatch 2 had refunded players who bought a Mercy skin shortly before it was given out as a Prime Gaming reward, the vast majority of former shop skins given out as Twitch Drops have not offered the same to fans who already had them. It is possible Overwatch 2 could provide compensation in these instances in the future, but these players are most likely out of luck as far as this Twitch Drop campaign is concerned.
