Years after its release on Xbox Game Pass and other platforms, hit RPG Chained Echoes will receive a new DLC expansion in 2025. The Chained Echoes DLC was announced during a livestream event hosted by publisher Deck13 Interactive on December 9, 2024.

Developed as a solo project by creator Matthias Linda, Chained Echoes launched in December 2022 to critical and audience acclaim. Chained Echoes drew on its classic JRPG inspirations to appeal to audiences with turn-based gameplay and a story following a group of heroes traveling the fantasy world of Valandis. Titled “Ashes of Elrant,” players will once again join the Crimson Wings as they answer one more call for help.
