A Game of Wits is a puzzle within Indiana Jones and the Great Circle that requires players to master a game of Mak-Yek, and here’s just how to do it.
For players struggling to figure out where to place the pieces on the board for the Nephilim Game, this guide will show the solutions needed to access the next area without the trial and error that might be required to proceed, so put on the fedora, thread the bullwhip, and let’s solve the Nephilim Game.
How to Solve the Nephilim Game
Once Indy and Gina reach the room with the Nephilim Game, players will want to approach the left wall where two Game Pieces can be found. It’s essential that players take these Game Pieces and drop them near the board, as the objective of the puzzle is to use all available Game Pieces to open the door on the right wall, and then the door on the North wall.
Players should have 3 pieces for the board, and now it’s time to place them in the correct spots to gain access to the right wall’s hidden door. To do this, players will need to stand at the Nephilim Game with their back to the exit and their front facing the statue, and then place the Game Pieces here:
- 1 Game Piece on the Second Column and Second Row.
- 1 Game Piece on the Third Column and Third Row.
- 1 Game Piece on the Fourth Column and Fifth Row.
This will open the door on the right, and provide players with three more Game Pieces, so like before, drop all of them on the board game and prepare for the final part of this difficult puzzle, as players will now have 6 Game Pieces to use that must be placed in specific spots so that players can access the North wall where the statue is located:
- 1 Game Piece on the Second Column and Second Row.
- 1 Game Piece on the Second Column and Fourth Row.
- 1 Game Piece on the Third Column and Third Row.
- 1 Game Piece on the Third Column and Fourth Row.
- 1 Game Piece on the Fourth Column and Second Row.
- 1 Game Piece on the Fifth Column and Fourth Row.
With all six Game Pieces placed, the Nephilim Game will be solved, and all the wooden pieces on the board will be facing the statue at the North wall, allowing Indy and Gina to continue through their adventure.
