MSI has just announced a new OLED gaming monitor with great specs and a glorious all-white color scheme. The company released the same monitor in black earlier this year, but this white monitor looks ideal for anyone building a white PC gaming setup.
The new MSI MPG 321URXW QD-OLED could potentially be your next best gaming monitor, especially for those wanting to pair it with a white PC case and peripherals. The monitor is a shell swap of the 321URX, with a 4K resolution and 240Hz refresh rate all wrapped in a 31.5-inch monitor.
The original, all-black version was highly regarded in reviews, and for good reason, with that QD-OLED panel being fast and responsive, while also offering great HDR color reproduction.
While there are no changes to the specifications in the white model compared to the black one, there’s currently no sign of this screen on the shelves yet. MSI states that the monitor should have already been launched on Black Friday, but it appears to have not materialized. Even in non-US stores, the monitor is completely missing.
MSI has previously been known for its all-black aesthetic with red accents. However, since last year the company has been going in on releasing white alternatives, creating the White Gaming brand specifically to appeal to people looking to create a white PC setup.
Once it hits store shelves, the 240Hz monitor should be an absolute boon for those into twitch-heavy titles or esports. However, you can’t just go in with a monitor. You’ll need one of the best gaming mice to be able to keep up with the high refresh rate, and if you plan to build a gaming PC with a white color scheme, we recommend reading our Gigabyte Aorus Elite X870 WiFi Ice review, where we try out this new all-white motherboard.
