Pokemon Go is introducing another brand-new event this season, the Young and Wise Event; possessing a new and unique theme, and different bonuses and features to go along with it. This event will feature several different Pokemon, both smaller, early stage Pokemon and those that appear larger and wiser.

The Young and Wise Event will only last for five days, spanning from Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 10am local time to Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 8pm local time. Below you can find all the details and information regarding the Young and Wise Event, as well as a few tricks and tips to make the most of it.
Event Bonuses
There will only be two bonuses active during this five-day event, both allowing you to earn more XP than usual. During the Young and Wise Event, you will receive double the XP for both hatching Eggs and successfully completing Raid battles.
You can further increase the XP you earn from these bonuses by using the Lucky Egg item.
This item doubles all the XP that you earn for 30 minutes.
Event Raids
The Pokemon found in different Raids during this event will also be following its specific theme. This includes One-Star, Three-Star, Five-Star, and Mega Raids, giving you options to challenge Raids of each difficulty.

Event Research
Field Research Tasks
You will be able to claim Event Field Research Tasks from different PokeStops throughout the Young and Wise Event. Completing these Field Research Tasks will sometimes reward you with an event-themed Pokemon encounter.
Collection Challenges
Collection Challenges will be available to complete during this event. To complete these, you will need to catch and evolve specific event-themed Pokemon, rewarding you with XP and event-themed Pokemon encounters.
