Both games featured in Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered have numerous bosses for players to face off against. The first line of bosses will feature some of Raziel’s brothers in their vamperic forms. Each of these characters looks better than ever thanks to Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered’s new visuals, among many of its other improvements.
Raziel will have been systematically taking out his brethren one after the other, with the easiest fight thus far being Melchiah. However, Rahab is another boss that sits near the top of the easiest fights in the game.

With some of the best horror games getting remakes nowadays, it would also be nice to see these PS1 titles receive the same treatment.
Rahab Boss Fight in Soul Reaver
Players will need to navigate the last parts of the Drowned Abbey to reach Rahab. This final part can be far more challenging and frustrating than the area’s boss itself. It is very easy to overshoot your position and go over the edge of your target platform — and have to do it all over again. It is important to note that if players manually save the game and then exit, they will be back at the start of the game. Even fast traveling to the Drowned Abbey means making their way back to this frustrating final part.
However, these jumps are meant to help prepare you for the boss arena to come. Once players enter the boss arena, they will need to jump from one pillar to the next, and then shift to the Material Plane. This will trigger a cutscene with Rahab. Once the cutscene ends, players will be able to jump from pillar to pillar in order to stay above the water and to avoid Rahabs attacks.
Players will have no means of dealing damage to Rahab directly, and will need to fill the room with sunlight in order to vanquish him. This can be done by using the aim button to look at one of the stained-glass windows, and then firing a force projectile. Some players may not have realized this, but they are able to use this ability even without their wraith blade. So, even if players take a hit from Rahab, they can keep shooting out projectiles.
If players fall off a pillar, they will be pulled back into the Spectral Realm where a wraith will be waiting for them. Finish off this wraith and absorb it to recharge your stamina, and then make your way back up the pillars to shift back into the fight without losing any progress.
How to Easily Beat Rahab
Even without collecting enough Artifacts to increase your health, you can finish this fight without moving from the starting pillar. Simply hold the aim button and look at the stained-glass window in front of you and destroy it. Repeat this with each window while completely ignoring Rahab. Players will be able to shatter every one of these windows before Rahab before they take enough damage to lose their material form. This is true even if they make several failed attempts.
