I Think This Upcoming Halloween Horror Movie Has A Brilliant And Unique Premise
There are a lot of Halloween horror movies, but there is one upcoming scary film that I think has a particularly cool and intelligent storyline.
Lori Evans Taylor and Guy Busick, who is known for writing Scream (2022), Scream 6, and Ready Or Not, penned the script. Adam B. Stein and Zach Lipovsky are directing. It will be interesting to see if Final Destination: Bloodlines has the same kind of powerful ending as Ready Or Not, which has a lot of twists and turns throughout the movie as well.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Busick and Scream 6 co-writer James Vanderbilt shared that they put in a lot of Easter eggs for the passionate fandom. This leads to the question of whether Busick has done the same with his script for Final Destination: Bloodlines. Since the original Final Destination came out in 2000, audiences have been enjoying these movies for years, and would definitely love some jokes about past characters or storylines. For instance, there should be a line about the infamous log scene from Final Destination 2. Devon Sawa won’t be in Final Destination: Bloodlines, but there should be some mentions of his character Alex Browning. He had the first vision of a plane crash, after all. While learning about new characters is fun, it’s also nice to hear about a old favorite.
In an oral history of the Final Destination franchise with Digital Spy, creator Jeffrey Reddick talked about deciding on what kill scenes would be included. He said:
“The set pieces and the way that Death gets people is fun to watch. We tried very hard to come up with scenarios that every day people find themselves in, and play on those fears.”
Horror fans have a lot of nostalgia for Scream 7,the upcoming I Know What You Did Last Summer sequel, and Final Destination: Bloodlines. As long as there is a frightening opening scene, a few characters to cheer on despite the fact that Death is chasing them, and some truly surprising kills, fans will be pleased with the sixth entry in the franchise. And they will definitely hope for more Final Destination movies.
