With the Season 66 Cozy Clashmas update, Clash Royale has reintroduced the Snowstorm event. After a long year of waiting, fans can now finally enter the snowy arena with irresistibly cold weather, where their troops will freeze, making the event fun and incredibly hard to play out.
And with it, the one-elixir card ‘Warmth’ is back again for this event, allowing players to heat up their troops and get them back into action. This means you’ll have one locked card and seven others to choose from for your deck. These picks will totally decide how you do in December’s second event. So, check out this guide to find the best decks for the Snowstorm event in Clash Royale.

Best Decks For Snowstorm Event In Clash Royale
Snowstorm is a limited-time event in Clash Royale, running from December 9 to December 16. As mentioned above, you’ll need to create a deck of eight cards, with one pre-decided and the rest as free picks. However, some cards will be unavailable for this event, including:
- Mirror (Epic – Spell)
- Clone (Epic – Spell)
- Freeze (Epic – Spell)
- Goblin Giant (Epic – Troop)
- Ram Rider (Legendary – Troop)
While removing some of these options makes sense, not having Ram Rider could be a big hit for players. He’s real fast and great at dealing damage to enemy towers, making him ideal for surviving the icy winds. But don’t worry — there are still plenty of strong alternatives. Here are the top decks for the Snowstorm event in Clash Royale.
Deck 1 Fast-Paced Troops Deck
Cards |
Cost |
Evo Warmth |
1 Elixir |
Evo Skeleton Dragons |
4 Elixir |
Valkyrie |

Fireball |

Golden Knight |

Barbarians |

Goblins |

During the Snowstorm event, your troops only stay active for a few seconds before freezing completely in place. This happens because of a giant icy patch that locks them down. The best strategy here is to go for fast-paced troops that can cover more ground in less time. So, it’s a good idea to avoid units like Giant, P.E.K.K.A., Elixir Golem, or similar options.
Building troops like Inferno Tower, Tesla, and Goblin Hut don’t perform well in this event either, since you’ll have to keep summoning the Warmth card to keep them active. Slower cards like Night Witch, Mini P.E.K.K.A., and Firecracker also aren’t ideal picks here.
Deck 2 – Tower Focus Deck
Cards |
Cost |
Evo Warmth |
1 Elixir |
Evo Electro Wizard |
4 Elixir |
Bandit |
3 Elixir |
Mega Knight |
7 Elixir |
Golden Knight |
4 Elixir |
Barbarians |
5 Elixir |
Prince |
5 Elixir |
Fireball |
4 Elixir |
This deck is perfect for the Snowstorm event. Heavy builds aren’t entirely off the table, but they need to be quick and capable of dealing serious damage to enemy towers — these are the ones worth spending your Warmth card on.
This deck has three tower-focused troops: Mega Knight, Golden Knight, and Prince. The Golden Knight’s sword ability is excellent for leaping toward foes and towers, so don’t forget to trigger it. Meanwhile, Bandit, Electro Wizard, and Barbarians are great fraggers to help clear out enemies in your arena.
Deck 3 – Fireball Deck
Cards |
Cost |
Evo Warmth |
1 Elixir |
Evo Prince |
5 Elixir |
Lumberjack |
4 Elixir |
Minion Horde |
5 Elixir |
Goblin Gang |
3 Elixir |
Skeleton Army |
3 Elixir |
3 Elixir |
|
Fireball |
4 Elixir |
Since the storm freezes troops mid-battle, it’s a smart move to hold back your key fighter cards until your opponent’s troops are frozen solid. Fireball is especially useful for blasting iced enemy clusters or building structures.
This event also features two game modes: 1v1 and 2v2. Moreover, the Snowstorm event introduces a special challenge called Blizzard Rerun, available from December 13 to December 16 in Clash Royale. Winning this challenge will reward you with an exclusive Banner Frame.
