The developers have shared insights into their vision for the game, outlining plans under three key areas: technical updates, game environment, and service improvements. While this isn’t a roadmap, it’s a transparent look at what’s on their radar, so let me share all the details that the recent dev talk has covered about the Arena Breakout 2025 update roadmap.

The publishing manager at Arena Breakout, Zach Gilson or ZGilly, shared the details regarding what’s coming next. Although he mentions this is not exactly a roadmap, this is just a peek at what’s coming next. As mentioned in the title, all are broken down into three areas: technical updates, gameplay enhancements, and community-focused upgrades.
Fixing technical glitches
One major issue that’s finally being addressed is the “sunken corpses” glitch. If you’ve ever lost loot underground after taking down an opponent, you know how frustrating this bug has been. ZGilly says that fixing this issue has been very difficult. The team explained that this glitch started back in Season 3 when ragdoll physics was introduced.
Adjusting your graphics and frame rate settings can help smooth things out. They’ve been working on this for a fix, and we can expect significant progress on this in Season 7. ZGilly also touched on the topic of improving and optimizing overall game performance.
Improving Gameplay and Environment

Plus, if you’re tired of dealing with teammates altogether, the upcoming Solo Ops mode will let you go it alone. Features such as loot-sharing preferences and loot lockouts during matchmaking are also something that is being considered.
ZGilly also discussed the topic of “ratting,” where players sit in ambush, waiting to exploit others. While this playstyle can be tactical, it can also ruin the experience for others. To balance things, Season 7 will tweak spread damage effects, giving you more time to react to ambushes.
