World of Warcraft Shows Off New Transmogs From Patch 11.0.7

Key Takeaways

  • Patch 11.0.7 brings Vrykul-themed armor sets and weapons to World of Warcraft.
  • The Siren Isle content update acts as a bridge between The War Within and Patch 11.1.
  • Fans can expect even more transmogs, pets, toys, and mounts in the update.

World of Warcraft just showed off some of the transmogs and other rewards fans can get in Patch 11.0.7, including several armor and weapon sets inspired by the Vrykul. These cosmetics and other collectibles will be obtainable in the Siren Isle content update, which arrives in World of Warcraft on December 17.

Patch 11.0.7, titled Siren Isle, is coming to World of Warcraft soon. Acting as a narrative bridge between WoW: The War Within and Patch 11.1, Undermined, Siren Isle takes players to the eponymous zone, where they must contend with marauding pirates, Naga, and Vrykul as they help their Arathi, Earthen, and Goblin allies uncover the island’s secrets.

While supplies last, World of Warcraft fans who buy specific Razer peripherals can get codes for several in-game items at no additional cost.

Now, World of Warcraft has officially revealed some of the cosmetic rewards fans can get in the content update. A short video posted on Twitter runs through nearly a half-dozen cosmetic armor sets players can find on the island. These ensembles, along with many of the weapons they wield, are themed after the Vrykul, the viking-like giants first introduced in Wrath of the Lich King, and while some are recolors of currently-obtainable items, others are brand-new.

Transmogs aren’t the only thing fans can find on the Siren Isle. The video also shows off the Ur’zul Fleshripper, a horrifying recolor of the extremely rare Shackled Ur’zul mount from Mythic Argus the Unmaker in Antorus, as a mount players can collect. Rather than being obtained with Flame-Blessed Iron on the Siren Isle itself, this mount is likely being added to the World of Warcraft: Legion Timewalking vendor in exchange for Timewarped Badges.

Of course, these are only a few examples of items fans will be able to earn in Patch 11.0.7 when it arrives on December 17. Players can expect to discover tons of other transmogs, pets, toys, and other collectibles, including the much-anticipated stormcrow World of Warcraft mount, in the update.

Were that not exciting enough, Plunderstorm returns to World of Warcraft on January 14. The limited-time, pirate-themed battle royale game mode brings with it tons of other nautical cosmetics, including a black and purple recolor of the Plunderlord set from the event’s first run. Players will be able to buy the new rewards alongside the old ones at the Plunderstore, which allows fans to pick up items in any order they wish. Between Siren Isle, Plunderstorm, and the Turbulent Timeways Timewalking event coming soon as well, players will have plenty of new cosmetics to add to their collections in the near future.
