How To Begin The Road To Salvation Mission in Stalker 2

The “Road to Salvation” quest begins when you speak with Star at the Detention Center in Garbage Zone. This area is accessible once you complete the Behind Seven Seals” mission in Stalker 2 and exit the Lesser Zone during the main storyline.

Star will brief you about the Ward’s activity at the Factory, where Nestor is hiding. While your main objective is to locate Nestor, Star also asks you to check on his team, who went to investigate the area earlier but hasn’t reported back yet.

Starting this quest aligns with the main mission, “Answers Come at a Price,” as both lead you to the Factory. To help you prepare, Star will also give you a silenced PTM in Stalker 2, which is perfect if Skif’s pistol doesn’t already have a suppressor.

When you approach the Factory compound, you’ll notice around a dozen Ward soldiers patrolling the area. The silenced PTM comes in handy here, as it can help you neutralize enemies without alerting the rest of the troops.

After clearing out the threats in the Factory, head to the second floor of the main building, where you’ll hear a voice calling for help. When you reach the second floor, you’ll find a locked door secured by a padlock. Break the padlock to open the door and rescue Serpentine, one of Star’s men.

Speak with Serpentine and inform him that Star sent you. He’ll be thankful and tell you about the other men in the basement. Serpentine will also ask you to find the classified documents.

After rescuing Serpentine, head to the ground floor and find the stairs leading down to the basement. There, you’ll see a locked door with a keypad. Use the code 2605 to unlock the door and head down the broken stairs. Stay on guard as a Bloodsucker is lurking in the area. You’ll also need to avoid an electrical anomaly in this area.

By this point, Skif will come across the corpses of Star’s remaining men. Stick to the mission and explore the corridors till you find a small room with a fire sprouting in one corner. Inside, you’ll find the crucial documents about Product 81.

The simplest way to secure the documents is to rush in, grab the “Visiograph V 1M blueprint,” and take the damage for a few seconds. With the document in hand, backtrack to the broken staircase and climb to the top. Use the keycode 2603 to unlock the door and head into the corridor.

Stranger Cutscene Stalker 2

As you near the next doorway, you’ll trigger a cutscene where you have the option to help a stranger fend off attacking soldiers. It doesn’t matter what you choose, as both decisions lead to the same outcome. Once the scene ends, continue down the corridors and tunnels until you exit the Factory.
